Why are Nepalese politician so disloyal?

I hate reading political news of Nepal. We had Shah Dynasty for several centuries, with Ranas ruling for over 104 years and then again Shahs and then now democracy. Democracy unlike rana rule has led people to get education and openly speak their mind, but the country is in the brink of being a formal colony of another country. There is so much interference in Nepal’s internal affairs from India, China and western powers.
I am a naturalized US citizen, but again like many Nepalese brothers and sisters living abroad, at heart I am still a Nepali.
I wanted to pen on a subject, not many will be happy to read about it. I don’t frequent sajha much these days, but I have visited a lot in the past and read some discussion on Brahmin/Arya and Indigenous folks picking at each other. My intent is not to cause any hard feelings on any one. It is my observation and I am pretty sure many are aware of it as well.
Nepal’s political leaders are mostly Brahmin and Chhetri, with Brahmin topping the list with few from Indigenous community and Madhesis. Things have changed a lot in the last 10 or so years where we get to see folks from marginalized community becoming minsters.
I watched some videos few years back in youtube( I could not find, will share if I do) and this educated Brahmin person says that Nepal is in current mess because of all the bad bahuns with power in politics who never think of country's progress but their personal wellbeing. Now, don't get me wrong on bringing the caste issue here. I am from a Chhetri background myself and I tend to get along with people from all background and have close friends from indigenous community folks from Nepal like Rai, Limbu, Gurung, Magar, Tamang, Sherpa , Lepcha and many more. As we all know Kulman Ghising made such a huge impact in people’s life after he took the leadership and ended routine blackout in Nepal. I am also not trying to say that all Janjati leaders are god like and not prone to corruption, but with Arya/Khas majority in power and specially PMs mainly from Brahmin community do not seem to do anything good for the country. Look at Dr Govinda Kc, Ravi Lamichhane etc, who are amazing folks.
Look at Baburam, Prachanda, Jhaley, Makune. None of these people are good leaders, with Baburam and Prachanda who deserve death penalty for killing so many innocent civilians who were given false hope. Out of these mentioned leaders, Oli has stood his ground a bit on the border issue, but at the end of the day, he is still India’s puppet. What I am trying to understand is, does this have to do with Bahunbad?
