I never liked drama of any kind in my whole life except of course our mythological epics like Ramayan and Mahabharat. Other than that I might have watched one or two similar kinds like the one called 'chandrakanta' coz we used to make fun of dialogues and waiting to see that model who played as a chandrakanta during those days. But after watching few episodes I gave up as the story didnt seem to go anywhere . Perhaps that was my last hindi drama. After coming to US, well you can't say drama to these episodes rather more like comedy series like Two and half men, family guy, big bang theory etc were the ones I really enjoyed.
Last weekend my wife was just searching around new stuff in Netflix and she started this korean drama saying let's watch few starting clips . I was already bored to death as now you have to spend more time reading subtitles than the actual scene. I wasnt even interested at the beginning but I couldn't stop myself after hearing my wife's occassional laughter. Then it started getting my attention too . After watching couple of episodes I have to admit that koreans are no way behind bollywood for making drama . Although some characters seem little cheap but overall it's good time pass drama with a mix of everything prob bec of different storyline as well where a billionaire south korean women accidentally landed on North Korea and things started getting complex. Worth watching if you haven't already.
