Nas bro airline companies are being hit really hard right now...News about Warren Buffet dropping 18% of its stake in DAL (roughly 13 million shares) last Friday doesn't looks like a good sign at all. Also, AAL filed for bankruptcy in 2011 and shares became worthless down to 20 cents. So, I would be careful right now, I'm bit cautious of jumping at this point. Out of all airlines Southwest has less debt. AAL has huge debt over 20 billion. Warren Buffet sold 4% of Southwest stocks.
So, having said that I will wait until this pandemic shit/death tolls subsides globally. It's too early to jump right now. I still believe this shit market is going down more. So I've been following some other trade gurus in utube, and looking at SPY index, i think it might retest 2015 low (185-210) but who knows what will happen. Again no one can be 100% correct, but it's all speculation based on how the situation is.
So, I will wait. Right now AAL stock around 8 looks like a bargain but you never know how low this will go in this bear market. So cheap becomes cheaper. But for short term swing trade looks good to buy some AAL. But if the market were to hit 2015 bottom then I would start accumulating stocks like AAPL, V, MA, MSFT, FB, UNH etc for long term. Also, will buy some Delta/southwest airlines. I don't trust AAL cos of their bankruptcy histroy/ debt. Just my penny worth thoughts...
