It's quite surprising to know that the founders of Communist Party of Nepal were Newars. But current CPN leaders turned out to be opportunists. HOwever, Mohan Vaidya of Moaists Group who is currently under the custody in India is not a newar... actually he is Mohan Pokharel or something brahmin surname, from the near by village of Lilamani pokharel, etc. I think as the bahuns entered the party, the CPN degraded quite a bit.. and one faction who started strocities is Maoists group. They are born Brahmin, and they are ready to murder people... why? Vaidhya, 82, who was suffering from Blood Cancer for a long time was undergoing treatment at B&B hospital. Vaidhya along with Pushpa Lal Shrestha, Narayan Bilash Joshi and Nara Bahadur Karmacharya established Nepal Communist Party on 22 April 1949. (snn)
