Pray enlighten me why that is not a good solution?
You and I pay 25 to 30% of our income as tax but the billionaires pay like 0 to 5% tax. Why should they pay less while we pay more of our income?
Are you supporting they pay less tax than us because you think they should have privilege but we shouldn't? What you want is inequality and that is because you are brainwashed by the media that the billionaires own.
Billion dollar businesses like Amazon are paying zero taxes. Even if we get few of those industries to pay their fair share of tax, the money would be enough to fund a lot of those thing that you are questioning.
