Point is: you have to be sympathy and empathy less person if needed. Are you that kind of person as well what is your desire level to earn money?
Some of my friends are unmarried because their desire to be married is less than 50%. Your goal should over 100%.
if your desire to be rich only when you see other rich people then you are not going to be rich. You desire in not coming from inside of you and from your mind and heart it is temporary  just triggered by seeing other rich people or you are in need of mornies.
