Comparing Nepalese youths 15 years back and now!

Everybody has their own opinion. If everyone agreed at what was right, this world wouldn’t have been a mess.
This is something I have personally experienced and have expressed it in a comparative way at how we were back then, and how the kids these days act; seeing my own nephews, small cousins and kids around as I myself am not a parent yet.

It’s been a year or more, I have completely got rid of Youtube, Facebook, Instagram or any such social media and I have been so much productive, socially alive, peaceful, happy, blissful, thankful and things only I feel inside myself. Laziness is zero, no more depression or feeling low, no more self esteem issues. This is from my own personal experience and myself being someone who didn’t own or used a cellphone 15 years back, instead I used to spend most of my time playing Cricket during school days back in Nepal.

Internet has been helpful in every aspects till date education wise or work wise, but the quality of life and social skills degraded after owning a smartphone, laptop and a fast Internet connection with social media and Youtube in my case. I still use Internet, but minimally for work purpose, Gps and only for platforms like Sajha where one can seek answers from a fellow human being, share information, help someone in need and so on.

So this is something from my own personal self realization and analysis within. I am happy and thankful now that I got rid of it. That is all. As Teatalk said Freedom is never a bad thing, it’s upto you how you use them.
