Only about 10,000 people from Nepal has TPS and thats not even a lot compared to the nepali population in the States. I am on TPS too. A lot of students are investing money on college education and even working hard for the h1b and work permits. In one way, I dont think its fair if people with TPS just get green card easily while half the people who are spending more money and more time on education and jobs won't get it. I was on f1 and i chose to apply for TPS but a lot of nepali people I know didn't apply for TPS as they knew its temporary. If it extends or not, either way I am going to go back to f1 or going home. A lot of Nepali people also earn good money and esp with a college degree from US, I think one has chances of getting good jobs.
