This issue of remorse of living away from nepal sounds like the case of grass is always greener on the other side. While in nepal we so pine to step out of nepal..to step out of financial struggles, to show off, to get away from social disarray and other reasons.. We try so hard to show ourselves better than others by dressing up in "modern" clothes, eating out at those fancy restaurants, and so on...
Then after we come to the "land of our dreams" we forget all those factors and start missing cousins, "ethnic" food, culture as if we really hugged it when we were in nepal.

And honestly social structure in nepal has changed so much in last two decades..money and power is everything..kids don't play with other neighborhood kids anymore .. so well..learn to be happy with what you have and make the best out of what you have rather than chasing always some distant dream. And most important of all, don't always go around looking for easy button.
