DACA recipients still have another 9 months before renewal is due. Courts have heavily sided with the DACA recipients already. Democrats know this, and is the reason why they already announced no deal.
Trump cant shut down the government for that long. Hopefully some permanent path opens for DACA recipients rather than the 3 year offer.
