Associate in science? may be elaborate more most companies require Bachelor degree min for good pay and position: I'm currently enrolled second semester junior at university enrolled as Computer science major.
@machine learning stuff: I'm thinking about it. Hopefully I will get into that class in my senior semester.
I'm also self learner of Java which I think little vast for me right now learning all the libraries and all. Currently busy with home work and all that. Kinda frustrates me that I have to take all different kind of language like javaskript, php in school. I hate being jack of all master of none. That is one reason I want to join the consultancy that way I can have real world experience.

Unfortunately you might still have to suffer through Consultancy placing random project which well all went through: In my opinion, It will be worth suffering than taking all the crap classess like marketing and management.
