Like in american idol, it would have been great if they (organizers) would have allowed the audience to vote. This will not only increase the participation, but it will also value the audience. But, organizers have Nepal's Politician Nepali Mentality even after they landed in america and especially, when they want to deal with another nepali issue, they want to have / show some powers. They misuse the power to push their own relatives using public organizations, which is a crime against society and its members. Well, those who come here give lecture that "timi afaile gare bhaihalyo nita" type of excuses: please, bear in mind that such associations when become public stuffs through publicly available membership, the officers don't have right to do whatever they like. If it was their own private company run by using their own private share alones, then they can use whatever they like as long as the share holders are satisfied. The things somepeoples raising the issue here is to be transparent. You can not just close room and comeout and tell "hey, this is our result, whether you like or not, we don't care". The public needs to know why such result was derived? If you can not do things transparently, then, you will be fired and thats why NPPA has rival organization: thats why we have mushroomed organizations? Because the organizations like ANA, NPPA are not transparent, the officers have monopoly and they are not trusted by members. Formation of so many sister organizations (indepdently run) is clear indication of distrust over these organizatiosn who would have firm control over these organizations. Like if ANA was really trustworty organization, NPPA would have been a part (section) of ANA. Similarly, if NPPA officers were trustworthy, then, there could not be another breakway faction? The reason for breakaway faction is clear indication of distrust /mistrust over officer bearers, that should be shameful to them. GP
