 Hi All,
 Has anyone travelled from Houston - Istanbul - Kathmandu via Turkish airlines recently? If yes, can you tell me how strick they are with 1/2 lb over weight of check-in baggage? Do they weigh carry-on baggage?

checkin baggage 02 pcs 50lb each and 14lb hand carry are allowed besides laptop.
If you have 1/2 lb extra , they will ask you to make third baggage and will charge $125.00 or $75.00 for that. (check airlines website or call your agent)

Regarding hand carry ..It depend upon airlines staff.. most of them weigh ..no doubt !!!

My friend departs 02 days before  from Houston with same airlines. She has 1 lb extra and they asked her to make 3rd baggage but we didn't !!! who will pay $125.00 for small lb ??
