Hi All,

I am wondering if anyone of you would help me gathering required documents for H1 Visa stamping. I am in USA right now and going back to Nepal for H1 Visa stamp. Do I need any kind of job approval letter from my employer or the H1 approval letter from Immigration is sufficient ? Also Can anyone tell me the process of getting Visa stamping once I get in Nepal ?

Please help.

Appreciate your help in advance,
Suchita

Here  you go:

1. Client offer/hire letter- Not a offer/hire letter(we don’t get this from client). Reference letter, that will say since when you are working with them, your job responsibility and your contract term and location currently you are working.

2. Employer offer letter and reference letter (This will tell your salary, job responsibility and since when you are working with this company )

3. Other documents from Employer ( Tax return of company, W2 of company, financial statement of the company for at least 4 quarter , Employee list (don’t present this until they ask for), Letter from company to embassy

4. W2-Take all

5. Paystub- Take all

6. Bank Statement-This must  prove that you are getting paid every month and should display your monthly salary deposit, balance really doesn’t matter

7. Financial statement of consultancy- Please refer point-3

8. DS 160/156/157- Fill this up online and take confirmation page with you.( https://ceac.state.gov/genniv/)

9. All the university documents (I-20, academic certificates)

10. Photo-You have to attached in DS-160(visa application form). Don’t need other than that, but better to have extra photos with you J

11. Passport

12. LCA

13. H1 B Approval-Take all, if any

14. Resume- Updated

15. Tax return- Take all

Go to Nabil bank, Maharajgunj (Right in front of US embassy) and get Visa Interview date.
Note: you may not require financial statements and other documents of the company, if you are directly working for  an American Company.
All the best!
