 Guys.. I don't have my EAD card that i got from my associate degree.. i want to apply OPT from Bachelors.. is the copy of EAD necessary while sending the application?
 any input would be appreciated

You don't need an EAD card to apply for OPT.

 footyfan bro,
seems like you know/have been through this OPT thing. can you share how the process works? i know what needs to be done, but i'm not sure about the sequence of steps. if you shared that, id' be really helpful to me and others on the same boat.

 footyfan.. thanks for the quick reply.. i took the OPT during my Assoicate degree.. ahile chai Bachelor ko lina thaleko.. Cheklist herchu ta.. you need the copy of the OPT card if you have received in the past bhancha.. so just wondering whether it is required or not.. if anyone has gone through the similar situation.. it would be really great if you guys would share it., 

Previous OPT ko documents kunai ni chaina bhanya..

 I didn't have to apply for OPT but my friends did. Your college will need to issue an I-20, you need to apply for a work permit ,submit the check and complete the formalities. 

Don't wait for the last minute as people's OPT have been rejected due to silly reasons.

I believe copy of past EAD is a requisite...Like u have mentioned it is clearly written on the instruction to apply for OPT. I guess you will have to contact USCIS for alternatives.

 Your employer will have a copy if you used the EAD card while on OPT

 Yep, if you dont have one, your employer got one. You need all those old paper works too. And make sure all the info matches with the old 765 form you filled!
