Hi,

I am doing my Bachelors in Accounting now. I will graduate in 2 years. I want to give CPA exam. This is my goal at the moment. Now, I dont know what is the correct way to achieve it. I mean, what should I do after my graduation? Do I need to join graduate college to get Master's degree and then give CPA exam, or what other? Do I need to give GRE/GMAT or any other exam after my graduation? What will be that? GRE or GMAT or any other? Please guide me what is normally done and what should I do after my graduation. I have nobody who is doing Accounting and they have no idea what the correct path me. It will be a great help for me.

Thanks..

If your goal is to get CPA, you will have to meet 150 credit hours requirement. In addition you will also have to meet the criteria set by your State. Check your State website for more info. You will need GMAT to get into Masters Program in Accounting..Good luck..

Thank You very much for your quick reply.

What do you think is more important for Grad school when they look at our application - undergrad GPA or GMAT score? I went to some website and saw that grad universities needs GMAT for their consideration. Does it mean that higher score in GMAT will help to get scholarships? Or, GPA is used to calculate scholarship? I have no idea. I know my questions may be silly.

They will look at your GMAT score first. If your GMAT score is less than the average score or their standard score, then they will look at other materials-GPA, essay, recommendation letter, Etc...........
