The movie I reffered to is one good movie which makes you think about your life. Are we just running after success or after exellence. So, please instead of creating baisness ... you should learn to priase GOOD THINGS !
although I haven't watch hindi movies for 10/12 years , $500 reward lured me - it's ok to spend my 3 hrs. While watching, I turn it off after first song came in. Never happens that in real life so movie is far from reality. you might say that's hindi movie but so what if that were there to please riksawala for their entertainment? not cup of my tea certainly not for other 4 billiion people who don't understand why they are singing dancing in the middle of show. Now where is my $500?
I dont think there are so many rishawala in US/UK/AUS that on friday itself the movie collected NET 2 Million USD. Grossing firstday collection India + Overseas - INR 29 Cr. You should have watched complete movie and presented your opinion WHAT YOU DIDN't LIKE in the movie.

wow I'm amazed by the hypocrisy of Nepalese in here. On one hand, Nepalese people say they hate being stereotyped, bullied and treated badly by Indians, but at the same time some are promoting Indian movies here in sajha like this; more than they'd ever do to a Nepali event or movie. what a shame! just think from an Indian view point, isn't that a plain stupidity? You don't like Indian, yet you can't live without watching bollywood movies. Shame on you.

SPOILER ALERT....IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED THE MOVIE, DON'T READ THE FOLLOWING:
What I didn't like about 3 idiots: There are various inconsistencies I wanted to point out:
1. They should have hired young actors. Everyone know Aamir khan is at least 40 and he's playing as a college kid in late teens. I couldn't buy it.
2. Aamir khan's character rancho fights against existing learning methods throughout the movie and yet he aces all the exams? If rancho hated book learning so much, how could he have aced the exams, which are usually based on books? Something doesn't jibe there.
3. Rancho turns about to be a great innovator but he's lost his morality. He tries to help his friend cheat. Later we find out that he was enrolled in the college as someone else. By selling his certificate, he's literally committed a crime. What would have happened if rancho had gone to medical school and given his license to someone who didn't even graduate from high school?
4. Like we all predicted, rancho has 500 patents, gets the girl, and thus is the most successful person. This is nothing sort of a masala movie that Bollywood is infamous for making.
The destination of this movie is nothing different from loads of Bollywood flicks. Here's why it has been a hit:
A famous actor (one of the Khans) + some romance + a couple of songs + comedy here and there + a few out of the world melodramatic scenes ('All's good' wakes up a dead baby) + everyone's happy in the end = Formula for a Bollywood Hit
