"Achhi kandai boldai gareko jasto" Can not she/he pronaunce regular nepali words? why does she/he needs extra energy to speak nepali? And the lyrics is bakbas..... can not be worse than this.... I recommend singer to learn nepali language first..... It is perfectly fine to speak regular nepali.... do not put extra energy on any words....... In addition, the voice is somewhere in between boy's and girl's voice. Sing either as a boy or as a girl.....
It's not just her. All these nepali songs that aspire to be of rock genre have this "Achhi kandai boldai gareko jasto" tone. That shows a lot of pretentiouness in the song and is a major turn off for me personally. I dunno for real who started this "achi kanne" style in Nepali songs.
Seriously....whats up with the Silent Rs with those Nepali Rockers.....We have a Rolling R with Nepali Language.....we get to hear Nepali Songs in English Accent. Funny as hell.
harek genre..ko gauney tarika chuttai huncha...lok geet gauda lok bhaka ma gaucha..pop geet pop style ma huncha..R&B ko afnai tarika huncha rock ko pani testai ho....so it all depends on what genre youre tryin to sing...even native english speakers sing these kind of songs in the same manner.. i m not saying that i like this song ..but its not bad either..good try..so next time..you old school folks hear somebody "achi kaneko" -in your words...just remember my words ....they are simply trying to follow the genre.. aight??
I think the argument is not over the GENRE of music. Argument is about f$%cking up Nepali words. I am tired of those GENRES on TV who like saying " Khantipoo" for "Kantipur" and "Timwo" for "Timro"

i saw u guys were makin fun of this song...if the issue is not with genre...i guess i missed the point.....i c what u talkin bout.....geet haru haru ma halka changes me for is digestable and in many occasions they sound brillaint.. tara bolichali ko bhasama testo garcha bhaney chai that is not nepali..
I don't hear any heavy guitar sounds in this song so as to qualify for a rock genre or the "achi kanne" style. Anyway, I am sure professional music critic would provide better insights.
As a listener, I am not impressed. Specially those songs.. where a singer is mimicing nepali words as english..
As pointed above by others, you can feel amatured tone.. easy singing music... The technology/mixer is doing 80% singing job.. sometimes, it is so extreme that some words feel like 'robotic' sound. She should open up her voice while singing.... and make clear pronounciation, clean tone..

By the way she is not making any swang. she can not speak Nepali well. She was grown up in India and lived all her life in India. Her singing style is cool. probably she has to work hard next time when she sing Nepalese songs. we have some other Indian singer singing beautiful Nepalese songs so it should not be hard for you.

If she can not speak Nepali then I recommend her to learn Nepali first and then start singing. If she is good singer she can sing on those languages in which she is fluent enough to speak. There are several nepali songs by Bollywood singers, which are much better....... Anyway the bottom line is do not record the events inside your restroom and do not bring them to the public.
oh well... i don't see anything wrong with her voice here...the only thing she should improve is not holding her breath while singing....and about her accent well she has been outside NEPAL for 10 years ani tyo pani like 4 or 5 years age bata ahile 16 samma hola....and what can we expect??? well being in US hamile yaha pani testo accent haru suneko chau tyo pani budo bhai sake pachi NEPAL ma NEPALI padisake pachi aako haru ko accent pani change bhako .. so i don't think its too bad for her to sing like that....moreover i like it...music could have been a little better though...WAY TO GOO MARCIA....
oh yeah and about ROBOTIC sound...well if T-PAIN can do it to all his songs and still NEPALI PARTY ma tyo T-PAIN ko geet bajda sab nachhchha bhane why not MARCIA....she is not here for a competition or something...i mean she is just singing because of her ineterest maybe and also i see NEPALI music industry evolving with young singers like her......well thats it...
