i'm fan of dr. yogi bikashanada , he changed me my thinking process completed. As far as nepal donot even think nepal will change in 200+ years. I feel its not politicans that are creating mess. If a normal person goes to politics, pressure and power that is infront of you will make you mad dog. it is the soceity how we are brought up has kept our country back. For example: compare a nepali and american when comes time to take risk. Nepalese get away from experiment and risk. They still live with name of buddha and mt everest. All the technlogy we use in nepal is from outside. we are not allowed to marry outside our caste, thats a big disgrace. parents donot live for themself , they live and earn for kids, thinking I have my son and daughter marriage and education. In usa, they are free from these barrier so they can use their mind. This is my point. If someone disagrees, they are welcome to argument and prove their point.

Redlotus, I completely agree with you even tho I've never read Dr. Yogi Bikashananda. We Nepali's love playing the blame game and pointing fingers ( OH YOU STARTED THIS THREAD THATS WHY THERE IS SO MUCH ANGER AND RESENT IN SAJHA :P). It doesn't help that we have lazy politicians in charge. I admit I don't know much about politics (nor am I interested in finding out) but I feel that CHANGE is NOT welcome in Nepal. That is a very bad/sad thing.

Down to minute details, we always walk the beaten path. A self-contained, self-propelled society ignoring (condescendingly) the forces around us (Indians for example).

We like throwing ourselves around, priding ourselves for our courage and (even worse) our anger. Yes, anger.

We are proud to be angry people. Angry at what? Beats me, but angry... and proud. Maybe we think others might get "scared" of us, but the only people we're scaring (and influencing) are our youth.

Of the few amongst us that hope for a better future, there are hundreds for that few who want to ridicule them, bring them to "shame" just out of pure envy.

We are a proud jealous angry crowd. And it gets worse. We are lazy.

I don't mean to offend anyone with my views. If you don't agree, lets have a debate, I don't mind if its constructive.

Its not only about what is prevailing in our society but its about the people who are responsible for these situations to exists. Of course I dont mean that we are not responsible for that but what we should  know is that who has the more responsibility.

The politicians are the one who make the law and order in the nation and we are to follow it whatever it says. We are to go according to the system whether it guides us to the right or wrong way. Its our mistake to chose such leaders as the one who guides our system but what if every person we chose diverse their views when they are in power.

How can you expect people to invest their money in businsess when the system doesnt support it? This situation was clearly observed during the period of insurgency. Who can open an industry when they have to pay more CHANDA than they actually earn? Who are more responsible for creating such situation?

So its not about blaming others, its about the person who is not responsible for their position.

The very first step is to move out from dhotis politics influence.
seek help from other country. Take loan and build east-west train.
build road to every district and villiage. build school and health post in remote area(ahh there are enough school. force  teacher and doctor  to stay in existing  remote school and health post ). Aware people. fight against dhotis encroachment.
let's unite all.

What are madehsis really demanding?

Are the Madhesis really Nepalis?

And if not then why are they demands being fufilled?

I heard and saw the Mahesis clashing with the Tharus in the youtube.

Tharus are JanJatis of Nepal.

Why other JanaJatis just stand and look when our own brother is being provoke by the madhesis?

I Nepalese knows better than me BUT why is Girija and his family being not investigated or face any indictement.

I been hearing so many heinous crime like selling part of Nepal to India.

So if we cannot punish criminals like GPK how to start rebuilding?

you tell me.
