No. If you have processed I-485 after I-140 has been approved , you could have received GC by now and could have joined any other company. Since I-140 is valid as long as you have maintained job with that company who sponsored you but I did not get why you did not you file for I-485 or may be you are hiding something here.
So the answer is: Once you leave that company and joined other company, your GC process ends there itself and you have file again through new company sponsor. To let you know that GC is not portable from one company to another. Why do not you file again ? Consult with an experienced immigration lawyer (get opinion at least from two lawyers ) and decide. Hope that helps you.

neerman ji !
Ali research garne ho ki before u provide answer that is not TRUE or maybe half correct.

"So the answer is: Once you leave that company and joined other company, your GC process ends there itself and you have file again through new company sponsor."

Tha above statement by you is not TRUE and correct. GC is for future employment and there is no need to work for that company during the GC process. It's only after you get GC you have to work for your sponsoring company. If only company pulls I-140 application then the GC process will stopped. You can always change company during GC process.

ilu5576, I highly doubt you can use 5 years ago approved I-140 now. You must have your reasons not to file I-485 or maybe ur dates were not current at the time to file. And now your dates might have passed the timeframe for filing. I believe there is ceratin time you file I-485 when dates are current. Maybe 180 days. .Not sure though. . Nepal used to be current for both EB3 and EB2 category..Not sure how its is now....I know at your time EB3 was not current and there was 3-4 yeasr wait.....Hey but give it a shot with a lawyer....Maybe there are some loopholes since your compnay was closed. Might have to spend $ 100 for half an hour consult but, you will know for sure.

You cannot use I-140 from the old employer to get the GC from your new employer (unless i485 was pending for 180 days or more). The new company has to go through new Perm/i-140 process, however, the priority date from your old i-140 is retained and used for new processing if you want to use i-140 from old employer. This would be useful only if there is few years of wait like STUPIDA said, but now its current for EB2 and just few months of lag for EB3. I don't see any benefit of trying to go through that process.

One of the 485 req is employment verification letter. Talk to your previous company and expert lawyers..
