This IT industry is just weird industry. There are 1000s of position open for Sr. Level position but almost none for Jr. Level or entry level. I guess no one wants to take chance with fresh college graduate. This is major shocking difference between other degree and CS degree.

This is because of screwed immigrantion based IT industry . There used to be time when company used to hire intern , college grad and train them. Since Clinton industry started H1b in fovour of bringing wage down for Wall Street and tech industry , these contracting culture increased. Indian companies start making money with screwed up immigration system.

There are people available with 5 years experience easily and readily , directly imported from India 60 k every year, then who wants to spent time and money on recent graduate unless u are from elite school. Even if it's fake resume , remember for HR and manager the average experience of their team is more then 5 yrs. Turnover is very low for immigrant worked , because they get stuck, upward mobility , and wage is also low. These are perfect for big business.

This is exact kind of reason trump is rising. I am not anti immigrant, as I am one of them, but this consultancy and h1b directly from India will kill this industry for sure. Those who got into this industry with few months of training will jump to some where else , but those who did engineering etc will realize soon , how much this industry got screwed with this culture.

Seems like recent graduate are forced to lie in their resume , even if they don't want, to be competitive with other fake resumes.

@cp21 Yes. I would recommend you to look for other options as well. Do not look for just nepalese though. Most often the business model is the same with both.
