Hello friends,
TPS granted, EAD is in hand. Now do I need to have SSN to start working? I have ITIN number that I got under F-2 status for tax filing purpose. Can I use that number instead? Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

I believe you will have to goto the SSN office with your two proofs of address (eg, Bank statement, car insurance, etc), your EAD card, TPS approval document and passport to apply for SSN to begin working using that EAD.

Go to social security office with your Ead and possibly with a passport where they will verify your legal status and send you your SSN within 4 weeks. Normally it takes 2 weeks but it might take upto 4 weeks for verification purpose.
