I could not do well in one of my core grad classes. Recently, I found out that I have to leave the program (Biomedical sciences). I have 2-3 months to haunt for another grad school or figure out other options. Grad school suggested me to do a legal appeal but I am kind of reluctant to seek legal advice. I know its kind of late to get admission into another grad program for Fall 2014, so what would be other options to maintain my status? I don’t want to go back home for now and spend a year doing nothing. Would community college be a good idea? Anybody ever had been in this situation before? Need help. Regards

I'd suggest that you plan few things in parallel.
First, look for an easy admission school and start talking to their admission office right away. If you have 3 months then you might just in time for their fall admission. Otherwise ask if you can enroll in their summer session. Community colleges, which obviously won't offer grad level classes, will be another resort but I'd try the grad schools first.
In parallel, write a letter to your dean. Come up with some hardship issues you had been facing last few terms which is why your grades suffered. Talk to Foreign Student adviser as well. Your best case scenario is to stay with this school so keep talking, keep trying.
Good luck, and hope this teaches you a lesson for the future. Otherwise you will make the same mistake again.

Don't go to community college. That would be backward step. As Kiddo said, enroll in some easy grad school and hang in there if talks with your current school doesn't go nicely. Staying where you are should be your top priority.

I had a friend who couldn't perform in phd to a new school and he returned to his previous school for phd. So it's all fine and all the best

Still you have 3 months time before next semester starts. I applied for the admission to ASU ( Arizona State University) in may last year and got accepted with in 1 week and started in fall 2013. So there should be no problem for you. Try to do the research and talk with international admission advisors at different universities. Community colleges do not offer grad program. Hope this helps
