I have a question to all the Sajha users :

Can F-1 Visa students apply for H1B- Visa before they graduate.

For example , if somebody is graduating this Fall 2013, i.e December 2013. Can he apply for H1B visa this april 2013.  What is the chance(%) of getting accepted ?

I mean to say that he/she have a job already and company is ready to sponsor him/her. And he/she doesn't want to stay in OPT.

Is that possible or not!!!!!

All your help are appreciated.

Thanks a lot,

No, it is not possible. You can apply in April 2013, but you would have to graduate and start working before October 1st when your H1b visa comes into effect. So if you can graduate in August instead of December you can work.

Yes, you can. H1B will do based on your undergraduate degree.

@ Jhilke jetho - We can file for H1B for real .  He/She wont be having an undergraduate degree until december 2013. And H1B visa process ends in october 2013.  Are your sure about that!!!!!

I doubt it is possilbe then coz before you complete your courses with minimum of C-, university wont issue any letter coz thats not fair to issue such letter without getting any grade in those courses.
