For any person the nationality of one's parent is something very easily expressed, but for Miss Nepal Shristi Shrestha, it was a complicated thing as she said in her interview.

Inside sources have revealed the reason of the complication.

In the late 80's there was a rush of tourism in the Chitwan area where her parents hail from. Her mom used to work in the tourism industry and had contacts with many foreigners. It is believed that she had relationship with a British foreigner who actually fathered Shristi Shrestha.

An unidentified source has said that Shristi's mom is about 4'11 and her nepali father's height is 5'3 so how can she have a height of 5'10 inches? It is also due to the real father's citizenship that they ended up moving to England when she was 15.

I guess that would explain why she would term her parent's nationality as complicated.

So she should say she is half Nepali and half British and claim to be a Nepali because her mom is from there and she was born there. She is making it complicated.

She doesn't look anything like a British. Also I think her whole family is in the UK and not just her. Yes including her 5'3 dad and 4'11 mom. PLEASE STOP SPREADING RUMOURS!
