Ummm .... What the hell is this ? A pro-monarchy site ? Gyaney is not coming back again(He did not do shit the last time so what guarentee is there that he will this time?). I care about Nepal too, that does not mean bring back that gutless leader.

Nepal needs a country loving DICTATOR that is going to educate it's people and build the nation's infrastructure. Look into the history and you will find these dictators all over the world and look at where that country is now. any kind of tantra be that loktantra or prajatantra, where the poor and uneducated are electing leaders will never bring positive change in that country. it must be very painful for the "educated" minds to come to the realization that democracy might not be the best way of governing for everyone but i'm a firm believer of it. so i say it loud and proud: Nepal is not ready for democracy! @party_nepal: May I suggest to you that DETECTOR is probably not what you meant? Do some research, read some books before ranting against democracy.

Good to see you took care of that.

jaz-z yes it was a typo thank u for pointing out. but don't need to go read anything new or do research to form an opinion.

I hope that you have also realized the value of such opinions.

jay-z : everyone is entilted to an opinion but if you don't agree with one, you don't have to listen to them. unlike your approach of telling them to read or do research or whatever you were suggesting there with my typo.

Alright, I'll leave you alone with your crush for a dictatorship in the 21st century. Enjoy the comfort of the darkness that you get by turning blind eyes to democratic norms and principles.

Well I'm not supporting Autocracy or Dictatorship. But why it is like if somebody support the king they are presumed superstious, outdated blind folded, retarted or Dictatorship, autocracy and undemocratic. In context to Nepal even 21st century Democracy is not working either, with so many countless incompetent so called democratic leaders and their aide-de-camp crippling our nation in the name of Democracy for the people to the people. If the king is to go for election he'll will win a clean sweep. I don't think the Indian puppet sorry a** political leaders will let him do it, that's why they even don't let him open his mouth while on his religious tours, by far the election campaigns..!!! Most of the people will accept king as a President than that killer Prachanda or other sorry incompetent leaders. As far as I know Nepal always been free heads, full of liberty and democratic wherether its under king rule or multy party rule. Peace loving and freedom loving Nepalese people will defy ladened Autocracy. Nepal is a A1 country by all means. Peace brothers!!!

Please read all and see a mere example of how patriotic our leaders are and where our country is heading by their hands!!! State info minister’s Rs 50m Ncell demand raises pvt sector’s hackles Says such matters will hit foreign investment plans KATHMANDU, APR 26 - Minister of State for Information and Communications Surita Kumari Shah has allegedly demanded Rs 50 million from Ncell, the country’s leading GSM mobile operator, in return for a permission to import microwave frequency equipment to expand its services, a source at the telecom said. Another foreign company was also recently forced to pay a hefty sum to the Ministry of Industry to conclude its joint venture agreement with its Nepali partner. The events unfold as the country will soon be marking the ‘Nepal Investment Year (NIY) 2012-13’, through which the government hopes to rope in large-scale foreign investment. The government has already set up the Investment Board and plans an investment summit for the next fiscal year. However, the Ncell episode shows that doing business in Nepal is not a cakewalk for foreign investors, while corruption in political parties is also on the rise. “When multinationals like Ncell is being asked for money, it will definitely hit Nepal’s ambition of attracting huge investments in the next fiscal year,” Suraj Vaidya, the president of Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, said. According to the source, Ncell had enquired with the Ministry of Information and Communications (MoIC) after it was denied permission to import the equipment. The minister and her advisor told Ncell that their permit would be processed within a day if they paid Rs 50 million, the source added. The story doesn’t end here. Minister Shah insisted on the bribe during her telephonic conversation with senior Ncell officials. Ncell was adamant on not making the payment, and three weeks later, Shah’s advisor Gauri Shankar came down to Rs 20 million, the source said. Ncell, however, refused to pay that amount also.NCell from Pg 1 A lot of multinationals, including Teliasonera, have zero tolerance policy when it comes to corruption, the source said. “It’s a national shame when a sitting minister openly asks for bribe from foreign investors,” Rameshwor Khanal, the economic advisor to the prime minister, said. The private sector said Ncell’s experience is nothing new for them. “Before 1990, the private sector had to pay money to get licences. After 1990, they paid politicians to get bank loans,” said a businessman. “Now, we are paying them just to make sure our businesses are not disturbed by their sister bodies.” Many in the private sector term the latest case as a fallout of prolonged political transition. “Many political parties have split in the last three years. With uncertainty over their political career, party leaders use their energy to amass money through whatever means they can,” said a businessman. Interestingly, a recent report by Transparency International (TI) has revealed that political parties are the most corrupt institutions in Nepal. According to the report, “Daily Lives and Corruption, Public Opinion in South Asia”, 53.7 percent of the respondents in Nepal said political parties were the most corrupt institutions. Khanal said that until five to six years ago, sitting ministers did not dare demand money as brazenly as they are doing now. “In those days, they were afraid their parties would take action against them. Now, they do not care about the party,” he said. Increasing demand for money from the political class, especially those in the Cabinet, is forcing many business houses to move to the service sector or trading from manufacturing. “One of the reasons why we sold our stake in Gorkha Brewery and Bottlers Nepal to foreign investors was excessive demand for money,” said Rajendra Khetan, the chairman of Khetan Group. For Khanal, the Ncell episode also indicates what lies ahead when Nepal fully embraces the federal structure. “This would make the pillars of federalism weak,” he said. “It indicates that there will be more misuse of the state coffers in the federal states.” Posted on: 2012-04-26 08:22

Is it that If somebody support king is mandale (bad people) and who don't they are good people (democratic/YCL/NC/UML......) why such differencial and bad judgement among people.... no brainer Nepal politics is fueled with hatred and prejudice lucky enough in the name of Democracy..... I'm not advocating nothing just saying what i've been seeing and feeling.... Anyways its people's choice who you want to be ruled with.....faggots or non faggots...
Nakucha · Apr 26, 2012 9:41 AM
Nakucha, I respect your sentiments! I often harbor sympathy for monarchy myself, maybe for symbolic purposes or maybe I was just brainwashed as a kid into believing all the glorified history of our Kings, but I just don't buy into this notion of King saving the country anymore (Just look at what this King has done in the past let alone the prince living a luxurious life in singapore despite having killed a civilian) And your logic of saying King is better than the politicians reads to me like "Hitler killed less people than Stalin, so I'd rather have Hitler" Any country going through a major transformation like ours is bound to go through this stage. We're at infancy of building our complex, diverse nation. As my friend used to say, there's always chaos in diversity. Look at the history of great nations, how long did it take them to prosper and become a world power? It didn't happen overnight -- and it didn't happen without major pitfalls. The so-called leaders of our countries might be rotten, but it'll simply take a generation or two to sideline their archaic thoughts. We might not see this in our lifetime. But we have to strive that our children will see a better Nepal. And please, using derogatory terms like "faggots" really doesnt make your case stronger :).

Snurp when you say - And your logic of saying King is better than the politicians reads to me like "Hitler killed less people than Stalin, so I'd rather have Hitler" I understand your logic that both are bad very bad. But in the real world of Nepali politics those are the only options you have. Let me ask you something. If you had the choice to vote for either Hitler or Stalin, who would you vote for? If I am not mistaken you would vote for the lesser of evil.
rethink · Apr 26, 2012 11:02 AM
Thanks @Snurp, Please don't dwell into confusioin being a brainwashed kid. Everything or whatever happening is right infront of our eyes, right under our nose. That's upto oneself judgement. I always believe in "Let the law rule", that's the norm of Democracy if I'm not mistaken. Noone should be immune, nobody should be above the law, not even the king. What we can expect from this new constitution the new laws made by the same corrupt incompetent political law makers who are the major law breakers themselves. I'm trying to say is yes we are on verge of change a big change, a transitional period to become a prosper nation. But Nepal being a unique country why we have to destroy Nepal's Legacy, unity, its rich history, harmony among diverse multiculture on the path to change. Why we can't leave them intact!! Yes I agree with you that we have a long way to go, we might not see this in our lifetime may be a wait for another 240years ;-). I'm sorry for using words found offensive. In the current context if not the people(empty thoughts power to the people) the king can act like father figure (better than third country), people can accept Prachanda then why not the king!!! Anyways if India wants (we all know that) king or whoever can come back anytime and nobody can do nothing about it. Its painful that we have to rely on third country for our own sovereignty, moreover people are happy for that. Last edited: 26-Apr-12 12:18 PM

Hey Rethink and Nakucha, I understand the frustration. I feel the same way whenever I talk to my folks back home. Its like choosing between the rock and the hard stone. The resignation of people is simply sad! However, I guess it is easy to blame the politicians, mind you, rotten to the core, but we have to understand that they came from our society as well. So, we cannot simply blame them without taking some responsibility. Let me give you one example: Hygiene and cleanliness might be taught in school, but it has to be our own decision not to throw garbage at others' compound; Social studies might be taught in school, but civility has to start at home and in the society. As chaotic and bad it may seem now, the next generation will be better. People are more educated now and they will continue to be better. There will be better leaders in the future. At least that's what i can hope. Now coming back to the King, I just don't see the need. Why do we all have this wishful thinking that we need someone else to guide and lead us? Why can't we simply empower ourselves? Besides, the Ex-King did have that chance for quite a number of years and his predecessors did as well. He screwed up big time. If he wants to be a political leader and run for office, I don't think anyone's stopping him. But if he tries to sneak through disguising in the form of a religion or bishnu's avatar, its pathetic!

Thank you for expressing your opinions. We are solely human beings. Noone is expecting anyone to believe anyone is a God or reincarnation. The will of the people is our will. Royalty is an institution just like numerous other institutions. Such an institution should not be ignored because of the will of the few who came to power by killing innocent people. The will of the people should be honoured. Jai Desh Jai Naresh
nepalkoaawaz · Apr 26, 2012 2:50 PM
Yes blame goes to all. We have seen enough of leaders' insanity and immorality too. They are at the position to take the blame so is our duty too to let them know of wrong doing, provided people considered ultimate power. People should be cautios let leaders do high profile sensitive decisions that could hurt or will cause unrepairable damages to country, than regret and cry fowl later. I hope next generation would be more educated learn from the past and do better. Also hope and wish the king run for the office. End of discussion.....

@NepalkoAwaz: I am with you i really respect your feeling. I read all comments, but you guys couldn't think about the consipiracy against Nepal. Do you think that BRB and PKD are only the real son of Nepal. Because of these traitors we lost our beloved King Birendra. Think, Maoist agenda was only to fight against constitution of 1990. But sooner after palace massacre, Kantipur publication published a article of BRB, which clearly said that something was cooking. Pravin Lama was not killed by Paras, whereas it was RAW conspiracy to make him more unpopular. Because they know that it will sooner or later next episode they are bringing. You guys are saying one people killed by Paras, but it was accident. What about those guys intentionally and brutlly killed, not only one or two 15000. If I will put you in the shoe of Paras, what will you think. You guys are hearing all the time many guys arrested in DUI after killing someone. Recetly two years ago a doctor did suecide, where as he did only one thing hit-and-run. Why not you are blaming him ? The Paras and Palace massacre were only the first episode of current Nepal. We need a leader who can protect our country and Napali which is completely uncertain now. If we are not stop these guys tomorrow we will the citizen of India. I don't want to be citizen of India at any cost. We need one roof and one Nepal not divided Nepal in the name of federalism. Do you think these guys have balls to fight against India. Yes I can say King has and had guts to fight against India. What about these leaders, they are pimp of India.

i agree with you snurp but what you forgot to factor in is the fact that we live in 21th century. and what examples have you provided were from early 1900. the fact that our country is going through this hell hole is just because all the so called educated citizen are enjoying the prosperity in the country that had already been through their hell hole. we are enjoying the sophisticated lived earned by the hard work and patriotism of others. nepal needs educated and patriotic citizens today. trust me we wouldn't be less than south korea if the country could lure back its educated citizens. and with the debate between Tyrant or democratically elected politicians, i dont care as long as they work for the betterment of the country. but i can tell you that Gyane and paras arent them. i respect democratic system but i also believe that democracy is a nariyal. aaba kasko hat ma parcha tyessaile jancha ko ho vanera. aajko din ma ta badar kai hat ma pareko dekkhincha.

Hope is what keeps a lot of people going, but sometimes hope ends up doing very bad things. For example we can take the Maoist coming into power. They played with people's hope to get in power and now they are not going to let go too easily. People actually voted for them with the hope that they will bring in change, even ignoring the fact that they came into power by killing over 15000 people most of whom were innocent people who were brutally murdered. This hope can cause irrepairable damages sometimes because people can be unreasonable and impractical with their hopes. People believe anything can be better than congress so they bring in the maoist and now they find maoist is even worse, and now they will try to justify it by saying things like it will take time for democracy to flourish. They said the same thing 5 years ago. Well, they said the same thing 100's of years ago even in the US, and now things are taking a wrong turn in both Nepal and US. A lot has to do with the circumstance too. When there were few mouths to feed, democracy sounds great because there are plenty of resources for everyone, but now with rampant growth in population and limited resources, everyone's trying to make a few bucks while they can. In country like the US, because of strong legal backings, it is more difficult to abuse public resources and practice corruption, but as we have heard in the news there are more such occurance. While in Nepal, with lack of backing by the law, everything is up in the air and only the strong survive which becomes the maoists with their YCL backforce. The law is a joke as Baburam tries to put in small legal fronts such as confiscating land to build roads and doing breathalizer tests, while other ministers and his political partners are busy demanding bribe of millions of dollars openly to foreign projects and being involved in other corrupt activities. Hope is a beautiful thing but hope has to be backed up somehow by a possible roadmap as to how it is all possible or will be possible. However, in our context, there is zero possible road maps besides the increasing corruption, extortion, murders and an all round increase of everything that is bad to worse. Due to lack of education, the majority of people in the streets are swayed by political display of power and they will do anything for Rs. 100 a day. Because of this, the only hope that exists for nepal is for a military rule by a benevolent ruler. I don't see anyone else besides the King himself who can possibly carry this out. The royal institution has been going on for centuries and they took everything for granted, and this decade they got ousted. They have learnt a biggest lesson but they are only human beings everyone makes mistakes but keeping in mind what the options are, the new Royal coup would be the best options because they will come to power knowing they can't mess with the people, knowing they will not be above the law, but knowing they are the only ones who can make and effort to make things right. They already have lot of property and wealth so they are not going to be as bent on filling their coffers like the opportunistic leaders who have make their way in poverty and made their exit in affluence as we have seen time and again since the ousting of the king. Good politics is all about choosing the least evil options.

grgdai - you said a lot of thing and i admit i didn't read everything but your last line was right on the money. very well said!! "Good politics is all about chooing the least evil options."
party_nepal · Apr 27, 2012 11:14 AM
There is no way for the King to do a coup without India's blessings. India is not going to let that happen anymore. Gyanandra had a chance and he lost his chance. Everytime Gyanendra makes his round among public it seems like lots of people are supporting him but you all need to understand that his followers are too small in numbers. Is Gyanedra able to call a mao, uml or Congress like parade? No he is not..and that is a fact. Next, it is virtually impossible to go through a coup after they have pretty much democratized Nepal Army. The army is no longer a Royal Nepal Army its Nepal Army now. Finally, the Rajabaadi's need to understand that Nepali people do not want to assoicate Nepal's King in anyway with Paras. Paras cannot be a prince and he cannot be father to a king. That is why parties like Congress who were more kinder to the Royals are not even talking about having king back. Its time to understand that Shah Bansa is finished in Nepal. If Gyanendra runs for an election, he will get less vote than Surya Bahadur Thapa. Last edited: 27-Apr-12 01:59 PM

I am least into politics, but reading everyone's replies I have a couple of cents (wanted/unwated) of my own to throw in. The age of kings or monarchy has come to an end. Our country is so small that when it rains, its the last to know. But we know now. Monarchy is not a feasible option for educated, independant thinkers. That same way, communism is also not an option because of its impracticality. We are left with democracy, which has a historically high success rate and can also be attributes to shaping brilliant minds who have single handedly pulled the entire human race from one stage to another. But democracy without education might as well be like monkeys trying to play a game of basketball. They know the end goal is to make the ball go through the hoops, but are oblivious to all the small important rules that run the game. Its a major pain in the ass for players to 'do anything in their power' to make sure the ball goes through the hoops, gives unfair advantage to some, and in general is chaotic to just watch a bunch of monkeys fighting and running away with the ball to be ganged up by the entire team and the bench players on the court. Thats when the importance of rules, a system, a community, comes in. If there are rules, it at least provides players an incentive to try and follow them. If not, they get penalized. Which is the system. A system designed to run on its own, with maintenance every now and then. Everything in this world needs 'marmat' after a while. And finally an educated community which is bound together by similar ideals and morals and who will DEFEND THOSE in times of need. I guess we need to be more trusting of each other for that similar ideals and morals to come by. How do we gain trust? One way is by being more open, by being more verbal, spoken; basically getting those thoughts in your head out on to a viable medium. It doesn't have to be throught ONE medium. It's basically an artform, where you express something to be absorbed by the community and gather something meaningful out of it. Music, poems, books, pictures, films, paintings. Things that EXPOSE you, expose who you are, your thoughts, and what you feel, to a community that has the potential to understand your viewpoint(s). These are the structural beams that hold up any community. On note of community, one problem that we have, which EVERYONE in here is very much aware of is khutta tanning. Even in Sajha, someone posts something, there are about ten different people with shotguns ready to shoot the poor guy down (I admit, I've held the barell more than a couple of times). This hostility towards each other is what took Somalia to where it is today. I don't think any good is gonna come from that. We so badly lack this teamwork feeling. You know, cheering for a team you love, riding the crests and troughs of success and failure as one huge ship. Instead we are ready to tear everything apart. Build a dam, blow it up. Build a communications tower, blow it up. Thus, I feel that what we need most right now is some sort of general education. It will offcourse take time, five to ten years, but really, how fast time goes when you are busy with something. Those who finished colleges, try to think how long those 4-5 years felt like. So in the time it takes you to get a degree, we could have some level of understanding going on in the country along the lines of: this is a ball, that is a basket, you gotta bounce the ball, not carry it over. If you shoot from this line, its 3 points. If you knowingly kick someone, thats reason for suspension. Etcetera. And we can then enter playoffs with the big teams, even tho we have very slight chances to win, it will expose us to our weaknesses and how we can improve on them. I know this all sounds too easy so I just want to put out there that every thought has a dichotomy; one which encourages you to do something, the other which discourages. I fall in the former camp, and sometimes we get dissed for being useless dreamers. Anyways, thanks for reading then. Last edited: 27-Apr-12 11:45 AM

Its good to have a discussion but our reality is far from it. I mean if you look at the current situation, maoists did not give gyaney enough time to impliment changes. But Maoists have been in power for 4 yrs and change.... what have they done ? Nothing. They are too busy filling their own pockets and scheming to hold on to that Kursii. Corruption is still rampant in Nepal. These Maoists have created Dons in every neighborhood. Lawlessness is rampant. Basically all the netas are bad, corrupted, and we as juntas are to be blamed for. Because of lack of awareness of the people they took advantage perfect example, maoist and current condition. Maoist had no plans for new nepal , it just that they made some agreement with india so they are doing according to the aggrement. The people still believe on those netas and parties which makes us fool everyday and enjoy thier new life luxury life. I don't blame gayendra because he did nothing wrong, and i don't believe he was involved in Rajdarbar hatya kanda. I beileve all those netas played a game and i believe they are the ones who are involved. So all if we need new nepal we need to open our eyes and stop supporting those netas from any political parties( Congress, UML, Maoist, you name it. i already saw enough of thier new nepal and intension!!!!
Yeap · Apr 27, 2012 1:55 PM
Nice discussion guys. I agree with Caco here a lot. It is important to educate ourselves with both sides of the issue. We've established the fact that netas are all corrupt (probably not all of them) but most are! What is not fathomable to me is where do we get this blind support for the ex-King though? Under what conviction, what qualifications, what authority is he going to lead us? The fact that he was a King ? Then King might have done nothing wrong and I strongly believe he was not behind the Palace Massacre. But if those two latter points were his good deeds that warrants him to be OUR leader, I rest appalled at our intellectual destitute!

Meaningless talk in 21st century, other coutries are almost 1000 years ahead of us, educated people are leaving country, now we need King rule again. King had ruled us for generation and generations. Common guys, don't call another criminal. Last edited: 27-Apr-12 02:35 PM

Grg, I take none of the above. I have yet to see a leader in Nepal I can say is looking out for Nepali people. Gyaney sat on his ass and did nothing untill he was uprooted. Now these so called netas(Congress & Communist regardless of what faction.. I see no difference) are taking turns to fill their pockets & making sure that no one else tries to take their Kursii. Laat khaney bela paryoo tyo Murkha Nepali haru. Including those morons who were in front of UN couple of years ago chanting Gyaney chor desh chwood. THEREFORE I CHOOSE NONE OF THE ABOVE.

Well everybody has their rights to have their own opinion their own choice and freedom of speech. Let's be truthful at least for one time; Why you don't support Monarchy why you hate the King?!! Is it just because of your personal reasons; is it that he looks kind of ugly, that he don't have that nice calm face like King Birendra!! Is it that you feel ashamed considering yourself educated high tech new age modern guy and you don't give a shit about this outdated system!! or is it that "Sahariya Gaule" stereotype mentality feeling proud and superior saying I hate Gyane and Parase!! Or is it your belief in Congress and Communist Ideologies that will do justice to our country!! or is it that the kings ruled for many years and they just spent their life in lavish!! In regards to this as you can see how our leaders and their even minor aide-de-camp living their lives. on the other hand you would have done the same too if you were a king then. you & me everybody would have done the same. We all are human beings. I want to ask: who don't want to live like a king, who don't want to live like a Rock Star, Who doesn't want to be their own boss!! It is disgraceful and its not right that you envy or hate the other people who has better life than yours, who drive nicer car than yours, who make more money than yours, there are others too who is living worse life than yours!! We have to understand they got those things becoz they wanted like that and work hard for it, or simply being lucky!! Its those things that is written or one's fate, all we can do is work towards to excellence. Also unfortunate for the king "Royal Massacrer" happended those moment. Despite those unfateful and unfavourful fact the king still has strong supporters nationwide. I'm talking about those those kind of supporters 'silent supporters' unlike other political parties who let people hit the streets (picnic) vandalising and creating chaos to show off their "JANASHAKTI". Personally I don't hate these leaders, after all we all came from the same soil, infact I don't hate nobody nothing. I'm just disgust with their destructive craps, insanity, immorality and insensitiveness. I would have different perspective if they have been sensitive and liable enough to the country and its people or at least if they can contribute even 1% of whatever they making towards the development or to any needy people. I wanna ask Are you keeping blind eye on them just becoz you simply hate KING???!!! We don't need them at all we don't need their craps to prosper our nation. If you hate Paras, I have some few examples of other Paras. As we all know people's personality depends on the circumstances they are grown up or brought up. There used to one guy local pasale ko choro he was a spoiled brat with decent money in his pocket all the time. He was kind of ruthless picking up fight & mistreating local girls, he used to go to dance restaurant almost every night & throw money towards girls, if some girl don't wanna come to his table then hell break loose. Local police won't do nothing to him coz he used to give them money or some free stuff from pasal. Another there used to local gunda who was Police DSP or Inspector ko spoiled brat. Hitting local gym wearing sando showing off his arm. Fighting with other gunda (another leader's spoiled brat) from another tole. Drink tea or snacks or cigarettes for free from local pasal. Bichara police can't/won't do nothing either just bcoz of their father's reputation. One of the son of reputed businessman leaving the room because he didn't like to wait and stay in line to get US visa.... I don't mean to justify the crimes people make regardless of their brought up circumstances leads immune to justice. I see Paras face almost everywhere in every Leaders just name a few Sujata Koirala.. Prachanda himself & his Son..etc etc..!! Nepalese people; We are unique and beautiful people. We are happy easy going gallant brave people. We can achieve so much provided opportunity. Nepalese people are born talented born artistic we can excellence in any field. We can beat any Indian or Chinese IT guy as well as in sports or music. People with so much hunger so much drive do you think these leaders are heading us to right direction are they doing justice to its own people, people like us you & me??? Well I don't know about you guys but not for me!!! There are some stupid well educated people too who are insesitive lacking common sense and absence of enough adequate behavior considered civilised and educated. Behavioral Human senses you can't find them in books!! Perhaps may be its bcoz they are overwhelmed with their achievement having their degrees and work for corporate offices making almost 100k or over, Just like Mr. Bijaya Kumar picking up his cell phone while hosting a talk show!! sometime intelligence leads to superficial supremacy!! Nepal; As far as I'm sure Bishal Bazar and Suraj Arcade business boomed bcoz of the Indian Customers to buy Jeans and Imported Goods. Indian's were not all allowed to wear Jeans, and Import foreign goods, but I'm not sure about Casinos and Gambling. Indian Customers used to flock to Nepal to buy these foreign goods jeans and to Casinos. Nepalese were not allowed to Casinos its not bcoz they can't spend just bcoz the don't want to take money from their own people and they don't want to see their own fellows lose. I'm trying to say even in India there was Democracy but no Freedom and Democracy within, But in Nepal there were no Democracy but there was Freedom Liberty and Democracy within. which Nepal always has been... How many of you support this gonna be new Rasist Constitution..... since people are already divided among these nonsense political views.... do you think we are heading forward instead we are heading backward heading to destruction.... A new Nepal; Corporate Nepal. Nepal is surrounded by 21st century economic giants neighbours India and China. We can rip a whole loads of benefit from them. For that we don't even need Bihar Imorted Democracy nor North/South Imported "Ism" to influence or impress them. We can achieve a lot just being a Neutral State without taking either sides losing our ground our values. For that we don't need to transform to somebody else and destory ourself. We just need Nepalism a stable nation. There....... India always been interested in Nepal, China always has helping hands, The US being India allies and its interest in China has always involved in Nepal due our close proximity to China, EU is always and already there. We are missing this great opportunity to transform Nepal into a prosperous nation. We can trasform Nepal into Corporate Nation letting these big guns play major roles. We don't need to beg for donations or any aid. We just can demand them, let India invest in hydropower, let China build modern age infrastructures, roadways highways so that there won't be any "Sahariyas and Gaule" anymore, demand US and EU to bring hi-tech Industries citing cheap labours. They won't mind helping us they will do it happily and easily as long as we let them do their stuffs and their interests are met, they are not gonna care what kind of system we have. If we took a right path those days are not far that every Nepali citizen can go and roam (as a tourist) to any country without even requiring a visa. For that we don't need multi heads fighting like dogs trying to get a piece what other dog is eating. We just need one visionary head. I don't see none with that caliber withing our existing leaders. Right candidate is the King who can bring stability to the nation who can achieve this goal. Who would love his motherland other than king himself, there's no chance he will betray his own country and its people... or wait for someone to born with a magic wand. Dear king haters big guns I guess you guys can wait for their dear leaders to have sudden self conscious and transform themself trying to end this uncertain transitional period until they make enough for their 7 pusta..8 pusta......10 pusta or indefinate pusta..... Pease don't let hate grow.... Just my two cents..... Also enjoy the song....

Bathroomcoffee that is an escapist mentality when you say in bold that you choose none of the above. You need to get real and practical because in reality, you have to accept one party as the party in power whether you like it or not. Which one would you rather have the maoist, the congress or the king. You are not binding yourself to anything by answering it truthfully. You have to realistic and not act like someone who's above everything pretending that if you choose nothing, there will be noone ruling Nepal.
grgDai · Apr 30, 2012 9:47 AM
Escapist mentality ? lol !! I am not escaping from anything dood !! I think I am real and practical. There is no such thing as HAVE TO in this world. There is always a choice. Just don't want to pick another loser to fail the country. Everyone that came through the pipeline have not been any different from the one before. If you want to stagnate the country's growth and developement then keep chosing the same old same old and we as a country will never progress. You need to think outside the box and not follow the herd.
BathroomCoffee · Apr 30, 2012 2:34 PM
Bathroom lets get real and not talk like stubborn 5 yr old kids. You have a destination in mind which is very far away, but at the starting point you have 3 different choices of road that you can follow, and you have to choose one of them to move forward. You just have to bit the bullet and make a choice otherwise you will never move forward and the current will take you in the direction of the movement making you a bheda.
grgDai · Apr 30, 2012 3:29 PM
Lets get real ? You are the one who seems to be infected with a Zombie disease. Nepal as a country has been poisoned by your three elements for past 2 decades. And Grg wants to keep force feeding the same crap with no progress. Just because you want to be a bheda does not means everyone else does MR GRG. lol !!

Anything you do in life, you have to make a choice between the available options. If you keep wanting something that is not even an option then sorry to say but you do need to get real. You can compare Nepal politics situation to a personal dilemma. Let's say your close relative got into an accident and now the doctor comes to you and give you three options Cut off leg to prevent infection Inject with drugs which may work 50/50 but end up with bad side effects Do extensive plastic surgery and transplant organs The fact is if you love your relative enough you will make the decision that is least bad for the person because those are the only options available. If you don't choose any of the above then someone else will make a decision who may not make the correct decision. You don't have the option to say "All threee of the options suck THEREFORE I CHOOSE NONE OF THE ABOVE." Same way if you love your country enough then you have to make a decision regarding which of the least evil you will choose so that someone else does not end up choosing the worst evil for you.

Grg all the great inventor in this world did not invent things by just following the available options. They took chances and came up top. So you want Nepal to be stuck in the same old.. same old. Then go ahead take your pick and follow the rest of them Bhedas. No one is stoping you. I wil abstain from participating. IN ANY ELECTION IF THERE ARE NO LIKEABLE CANDIDATES USUALLY VOTER TURN OUT IS LOW. ITS THE SAME THING HERE. WHAT I HAVE HEARD SO FAR FROM YOU, YOU WANT NEPAL TO BE STUCK IN THE SAME OLD ROTATION OF CORRUPTION, LAWLESSNESS, RECORD UNEMPLOYMENT ETC ETC yOU NEED TO UPROOT THE CURRENT POLITICAL MENTALITY IN NEPAL IF YOU WANT CHANGE.
BathroomCoffee · May 1, 2012 2:04 PM
You are comparing apples to oranges here. Politics is not comparable to an invention where you can get creative about things. Even during invention, you have to select available paths and design components. Even in electronics you have zeroes and ones and you have to program according to on or off state. There would not be any inventions if you start saying neither Zero or One. Even in US, you have to choose the lesser of evil from democrats or republicans. Anyways, if people don't have a solution they should stop complaining about problems like bhedas and just suck it up, instead of crying त्यो पनि भएन यो पनि भएन
grgDai · May 1, 2012 2:31 PM
This thread is going around in loops. Democracy is about voting for the best available option. Some people may not like any options but if they don't vote for the least evil option, then they have to suck it up when apparently worse options are selected for them by others.

Gyanendra has an option to run and become one of the democratic candidate too. If he is really popular and cares about Nepal and Nepali why don't he form a party and take over. This nonsense of replacing Democracy with a "dictatorship" needs to stop. Gyanendra and his fanatics need to understand that people are not going to give up Democracy for a dictatorship just becasue there are bad apples in Democracy. Nothing beats democracy. Its like " Nahunu mama bhanda Kano mama nai niko". I WILL TAKE BAD DEMOCRACY OVER NO DEMOCRACY IN ANY DAY. There is always a hope for a change in democracy.
sidster · May 1, 2012 8:57 PM
Due respect to all yours opinion and judgement. I agree Democracy is the best. But it also doesn't mean supporting king is supporting 'Dictatorship'. I'm against tyranny autocracy absolut power... remember UK still has Monarchy.... I'm not against Democracy either I'm against these inept leaders who is a bad name to Democracy itself. Like anything else Democracy too, its performs good when its played fair and with good players. It's a fact even same medicine don't work the same way in different body. That's for sure we are influenced by civilised country's democratic system and tried to implement same to our country hoping to prosper. Nepal is so small that simplicity works easily. Do you really think all these unnecessary heavy dirty games in the name of Democracy is neccessary for country like Nepal, ain't its too heavy for its own people, even Nepal don't need this so called Bihar Imported high-end Democracy or this cripling Communism. Once hoped to burden fruits now its burden to its own people. "Bachha aye [Disallowed String for - replaced word]li khelaye matyangra ko satyanas" "kaam kuro ekatira kumlo boki thimi tira" kaslai k dhanna ghar jwai lai khanai dhanna" bhaneko jastai bha ko chha! After all what have we gained so far with this Democracy??? besides rights to vote!!! infact we lost more than what we had freedom happiness liberty. Chunav ma k kasto ra kasari hunchha tapai haru lai pani ramrari thaha chha ni!! katti ko dhandhali ra atyachar hunchha bhanera!! Its not that I'm not optimist or hopeful, I know its a long very long way, but no hope!! "barha barsa ta k jindagi bhari kukur ko puchhar dhungro ma rakhe pani sidha hundai na" bhane jasti chha hamra pyara neta haru. There's a realisation that people are being ignorant of the fact and supporting leaders for their crimes is just because they hate Gyanendra and Paras. These personal hatred has now gone too far it is taking its toll on its own country and its people. And you all know too how our country is sufferring, its not that you didn't see that means it didn't happen. You can close your eyes but they still can see you. You have rights to choose and jugde but when you do please at least have mercy on you own fellow people. Regarding me I voted for UML twice, because I was asuming they are different they have drive to do something they have will to do something they have will to withstand, but it went all in vein. I gave up on them long time ago. I've seen every real face I can't be a fool nomore. Sometime I feel these leaders are not even nepali national, they are so cold and cruel. I go for king, whatever happens I'm gonna go for the one which is worth it, I'm gonna do my part.I never gonna do nothing that will benefit these leaders from hell, but I have never held my feet back to help my own fellows regardless of race and political opinion. Feel free to call me names Gyane Bhakta, Bheda, Mandale, Gaynendra fanatics blah blah.. whatevers' in you mind. I know who I'm a proud nepali "ma euta Nepal lai maya garne sadharan Nepali ho". Truth is Truth, Facts reamins the fact. "Aru hajur haruko je mann" Everybody has their choice!! Our choice our fate!! Let's rise!!!! Last edited: 02-May-12 05:35 AM Last edited: 02-May-12 05:43 AM

we have Paras sarkar also BC he is our 4th choice...he is the most capable candidate we have available, like the NFL draft he is a first round top 10 pick.... after gyanendra he will take over the reign and fulfill the destiny of turning Nepal into Singapore, that's why he is living in SIngapore absorbing intelligence and information like a Sponge (bob) .... i have seen him draw bridges, planes, houses, cars, highways etc with his multi color crayons. That already makes him 2 steps ahead of any leaders in Nepal.

Bathroomcoffee yep you can call me kuwa ko bhyaguta if that puts my feet on the ground reality. Unlike you who is aakash ko maachha. All you can do is wishful thinking. You can keep on lying to yourself that by constantly bitching about things anything is going to get better. You are the type of person who, in a multiple choice test of 5 choices won't answer anything because you don't like the choices. You know what happens to those kind of students who think it's creative to not answer from the possible questions? They fail. You can claim to be as creative as you want but in reality and practicality you fail. But sure go ahead and enjoy your bliss in your wishful wishy washy make believe world.

Quality of life for Nepali people is going down everyday. grg,"You can keep lying to yourself by that constantly bitching about things anything is going to get better." huh!! am a lil confused. So are you saying that it is not going to get better ? You are contradicting yourself with this statement. listen dood I am not giving a test here for you to tell me I failed. lol Ok masterji. @sidster, democracy itself is not bad. It's like "बादरको हात मा नरिवल " at the present context. I just don't agree when you wrote 'Bad Democracy', blame it on those monkies who are running the show now. One monkey leader makes all other monkies. So, in a literal sense, most of the herd following those monkies are monkies themselves. And, I bet the only reason, they're not being able to draft the constitution is because they don't know what bird's name it is. Let's see how they come up with in coming days. We'll see :D And, regarding your comment,"Gyanendra has an option to run and become one of the democratic candidate too. If he is really popular and cares about Nepal and Nepali why don't he form a party and take over. ", I've just three words in the response, "Tried—Tested—Failed" He should be abstained from politics but as a citizen he is allowed to make comments on his country, but when he does, monkies howl at him for making political comments. @GrgDai, is right, it's an insult to those inventors if you morons(sorry not all of you but some of you really are) put politicians in the same wagon. If we have no choice, we always have to settle up with lesser evil in the context of politics. Politics is about an art of changing colors in everything politicians do. Chanakya नीति addresses that politics is a game to be won using "साम, दण्ड , भेद". And, that's exactly what these politicians would do, hate it or like it. But there are very few who are really concerned about it and take the country he's ruling to next level , unlike suckers with little knowledge we've today in the country running the game and sucking life out of every single Nepalese. Just like GrgDai wrote, there is no option for us other than selecting lesser evil, who is lesser evil, you determine either through voting or whatever system there you think is suitable. For now, future of our country is way bleakkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk. Nepal is going back in reverse every coming new year. We're probably 50 years back in terms of development the other countries had made. Look at Thailand, South Korea, etc.. guys, we started same, south korea was totally devastated and more poorer than us and where are they now and look at us, where are we now. We're fighting for our basic necessity like gas and light, forget about other industrialization scope. phewww.. just makes me feel sad how mismanaged and savage behavior our people have. We brag about the hospitality to foreigners but among us, we are savages who will destroy the sidewalk, vehicles, building everything for mere political reasons. It's not bad democracy, they also have democracy, they also have politicians. It's the good people or strict politicians that bring the change. We don't have BAD DEMOCRACY, WE have F0CKING STUPID politicians.

It only shows someone's disconnected state of reality to compare artists such as picasso to the state of politics. Picasso can use his imagination and draw you sucking on your own organs and lot of creative things, but alas in politics you are limited to few main political parties. Even in a country like US, there are only two parties that have any major say and you have to choose contenders from either Democratic or Republican party. Anyways, as they say, it's useless to argue with a fool because they will bring you down to their level so bathroomcoffee you are entitled to hold your own wishy washy wishful thinking ideals, which are unrelated to reality. You can freely throw in more of your out of touch with reality tantrums without any fear of repercussions. Bitter truth I like your analysis. It is unfortunate that people are more concerned about what is written out there, or how things are supposed to be than trying to spend some time to understand that democracy is about choosing the lesser of the evil. Democracy could have been good for Nepal if all things were as it's supposed to be. Politicians are supposed to work for the betterment of the country but that is far from the case. Consequently democracy is having a totally negative effect in Nepal. That coupled with lack of education and lack of opportunities, everthing is working it's case towards an inevitable never ending downward spiral, unless like I have advocated, a powerful entity takes everything under control and tries to steer us out of the inevitable doom.

once the king comes and takes over and nothing changes(judging by what happened when he was in power) then we will have another thread dedicated to maobadi and other parties urging them to come back. then we can choose among the lesser of two evils again and make them the more evil until we come back to this scenario and repeat the cycle over and over again. The raping and pillaging of the country will go on and on in a vicious cycle.

Grg,"Picasso can use his imagination and draw you sucking on your own organs and lot of creative things, but alas in politics you are limited to few main political parties." FACT-->ANYTHING MAN MADE COMES FROM A CREATIVE THOUGHT PROCESS. It is the same with politics. But you seem to limit everything. lol !! Just like you want to limit the political options to 3 in Nepal. Grg," Even in a country like US, there are only two parties that have any major say and you have to choose contenders from either Democratic or Republican party." Lol !! really ? Just because you have not heard of them does not mean they do not exist. There is the Libertarian Party, The is the Green party, The is the Tea party. Ross Perot ran as an independent. I mean C'mon man, Grg,"Anyways, as they say, it's useless to argue with a fool because they will bring you down to their level so bathroomcoffee you are entitled to hold your own wishy washy wishful thinking ideals, which are unrelated to reality. You can freely throw in more of your out of touch with reality tantrums without any fear of repercussions." Yeah I am a fool and you are the Learned One. I am completely out of touch with reality yup ! Yeah all of my arguments are out reality tantrums. Only you speak the truth. lol !! Grg,"democracy is about choosing the lesser of the evil." lol !! ok here is the definition of democracy 1. government by the people; a form of government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised directly by them or by their elected agents under a free electoral system. 2. a state having such a form of government: The United States and Canada are democracies. 3. a state of society characterized by formal equality of rights and privileges. 4. political or social equality; democratic spirit. 5. the common people of a community as distinguished from any privileged class; the common people with respect to their political power. Does it say anywhere or anything about choosing less of the evil ? Grg,"That coupled with lack of education and lack of opportunities, everthing is working it's case towards an inevitable never ending downward spiral, unless like I have advocated, a powerful entity takes everything under control and tries to steer us out of the inevitable doom." This guy has lost his marbles. He wants Nepal to be taken by a powerful entity ? WTF is that ? Wait wait dun tell me you want Dicktatorship ?

When's the last time there was a US president who was neither Republican or Democrat? There may be other parties but at the end of the day you have to choose from either Democrat or Republican. Simply copy pasting the encyclopedia does not prove anything. You can make your fonts more bigger and bolder to try to make your points look bigger LOL but you have already proved you are way disconnected from reality to have any productive discussion. Enjoy your blissfool state will ya? At this point let's agree to disagree and move on.

Grg,"When's the last time there was a US president who was neither Republican or Democrat? There may be other parties but at the end of the day you have to choose from either Democrat or Republican." There no other third party president because of funding. Democrats and republicans are the most well established therefore have the $$ to run these election engines. The green party totally ran on anti corporate sentiment therefore those corporations poured in soo much $$ that no third party could stand a chance. Except for Ross Perot(who spent his own $$ and came closest). Grg,"Simply copy pasting the encyclopedia does not prove anything. You can make your fonts more bigger and bolder to try to make your points look bigger LOL but you have already proved you are way disconnected from reality to have any productive discussion. Enjoy your blissfool state will ya?" I copy and pasted the definition of democracy for you, cause your definition of democracy semmed to be a lil eskewed like choosing lesser of the evil ? lol !! The only reason I write in bold is for contrast. I argue on facts where as you pull shit out of your ass like that definition. I will enjoy my blissful existance thanks.

democracy means you get to vote for the goverment of your choice. if you dont want to vote then democracy doesnt mean anything for you.

Can the OP (originial poster of the thread) tell me how i can chat with Paras Shah? Some of us true patriotic Nepalese want to BOOT PALISH his highness Shree Pach Yuvaraja dhiraj Paras Bikram Shah Dev's shoes so that it is easier for him to shuve it up our asses. Also we want him to come to power and turn Nepal into the next Singapore/South Korea/Thailand. Last edited: 04-May-12 09:36 AM

http://www.nepalkoaawaz.com/po... I am copying and pasting someone’s post from below. It is really the truth. Your Majesty, There are only two ways to change a System. 1) Either the politicians (or ruling class) allow the citizens to Vote or 2) the Citizens take the matters in their own hand via a street movement. In Nepal, the person who wanted to hold an election was you. You wanted the then Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba to hold AN election but Deuba wanted to continue his tenure. So, you fired him. You fired ALL subsequent governments formed for their inability or unwillingness to hold election. Eventually, the politicians defamed you as a dictator and you also left the Citizens in the worst politicians’ hand. Today, after almost 10 years of your firing of Deuba government, Nepal has still not held a parliamentary election. Your Majesty, Citizens have been constantly denied their “Right to Vote”. Each politician has agreed to rule for few months so that their circle of politics continues. Your Majesty, DO YOU WANT THE CITIZENS TO TAKE THE MATTER TO STREET? Where is the Citizen’s Civil Rights and “Right to Vote’? Politicians, If you are reading this forum, DO YOU WANT THE PEOPLE TO COME ON THE STREET? LET PEOPLE VOTE. LET PEOPLE DECIDE WHETHER THEY WANT MONARCHY OR REPUBLIC. LET PEOPLE DECIDE WHO SHOULD BE PRIME MINISTER OR PRESIDENT. LET PEOPLE DECIDE WHO SHOULD BE ATTORNEY GENERAL. LET PEOPLE DECIDE WHAT SYSTEM THEY WANT. LET PEOPLE DECIDE WHAT TO DO WITH NEPALESE AFFAIRS. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH FOR EVERYTHING. PEOPLE HAVE TOLERATED, BUT THE TOLERANCE IS UNCONTROLLABLE NOW. YOUR MAJESTY! PLEASE DO SOMETHING! WHY ARE YOU SILENT? IT SEEMS LIKE THE POLITICIANS AND MAOISTS HAVE THREATNENED YOU NOT TO SPEAK.
