Hello Friend
My parent's visa is denied second time. The consular said that " you don't have stong family ties back home". My dad is retired from government job and have big house in kathmandu and in 2 house is Butwal. I am the only child of our parents. Do you guys think being a single child is the reason not having a strong ties back home?
By the way, I am not working this time and have a new born girl (2 months) and my husband work is one of the DOE national lab.

Thanks

Apart from being a single child, not having an active job or business of ur dad back home shud be the convincing reason behind visa rejection. As a counselor, one would think that ur parents could settle down to US after coming over here since none is left behind..neither business nor children.. physical properties can be sold....

As you said ur parents already got denied twice...not sure if reapplying again makes the difference......that sucks....
I am not even trying to apply for my parents visa for same reason coz i know they will be denied.

This is the way they act ! one of my relative's parents got denied twice U.S. visa even though he is an american citizen. They just act randomly.

also, why you are inviting your parents to the State matters. is it for your graduation or something relevant like that or just for a casual visit? if it is just for a casual visit, i don't think applying for the third time will make any difference.
