Hey friends, I need genuine suggestations and informations. My friend has finally decided to go back Nepal after seven years of overstay here in US. But he thinks it is even troublesome to go back without legal papers. I don't know how he got such idea, but he was told that widout legal papers he can't go back specifically if he has to transit in London. Does he needs visa even to transit in London?
If there's such condition then which airways and route is best for people like my friend goinh back home without valid visa?

Avoid London & Hong Kong. Frankfurt Bahrain KTM will be okay.

Take the Pacific route. I know that you don't need transit visa if you go via Korea.

Take the hongkong route though cathay pacific, no visa required with it.

I have heard, there is a risk of being detained for few hours in transit countries in some cases...is that true ...!!!

 Just take the Chicago-New Delhi flight with American Airlines.

I was thinking the same one Chicago to New Delhi or LA to New Delhi ! you dont need papers on both .
