The Time Line:

March 4, 2010: Senile Krishna Prasad Bhattarai, demands the revival of 1990 Constitution.

March 6, 2010: Hisila Yami-Bhattarai bluntly declares that Nepal Army was the biggest enemy of the Maoists.

March 6, 2010: Gyanendra Shah meets with the Kali Baba, at Pasupatinath temple.

March 8, 2010: “Hail with Hindu religion and Hindu State” declares Gyanendra and favors the revival of Hindu state.

March 11, 2010: The UN dignitary Lynn B. Pascoe spits venom for the “mean behavior” of the Nepali leaders who have been talking against the UNMIN.

March 14, 2010: UNMIN declares that it may quit Nepal if it is told to function in Nepal with “limited mandate”.

March 15, 2010: The ex-King visits Swetkali Temple in Naradevi, evening and is greeted by the locales as the real King. “Come and save the nation…the nation needs your presence”, the ex-King was thus encouraged by the Naradevi locals to stage a comeback.

March 16, 2010: The Japanese Ambassador warns on Nepal embracing the federal system being a small country.

March 17, 2010: UML leader Bam Dev Gautam secretly meets the Chinese Ambassador at Everest Hotel and briefs him on the current political events.

March 19, 2010: UML leader Bam Dev Gautam warns the political parties stating that if they fail to draft the new constitution on time then the one who is in possession of mighty Gun power will rule the country by force.

March 20, 2010: Nepali Congress President Girija Prasad Koirala, regarded as a seer deterrent, counts his last breath.

March 21, 2010: India’s finance minister Pranav Mukherjee, reportedly makes a telephone call to ex-King Gyanendra and presumably tells the former King to remain in a state of preparedness.

March 24, 2010: The marginalized King lands in Janakpur to worship Lord Ram and Goddess Sita on the occasion of Ramnavami-a great Hindu festival. “It is just a hypothetical presumption or interpretation that the Monarchy has been abolished”, said the former Monarch with the Avenues Television.

March 25, 2010: Military strategist, Ram Bahadur Thapa-Badal tells point blank that the Maoists must exploit the May 28, 2010 fateful day to the hilt and finally Capture the State while educating his cadres in one of the cantonments. He also informs his cadres that the Nepal Army stood divided at the moment. The junior echelon of the Nepal Army have had the majority of the Maoist supporters and thus the revolt on May 28, 2010, would easily come to their pocket and the State will be under their command once and for all.

March 28, 2010: Senile Krishna Prasad Bhattarai makes another statement, wherein he demands the revival of constitutional monarchy in Nepal.

(Time Line inputs from Telegraphnepal)

The countdown to May 28, 2010 has thus begun. These tantalizing events in the month of March are hinting for disastrous consequences for our country. The three bearing the real political clouts, the Maoists, the Military and the Monarchs are ready to exploit the emerging chaotic situation in the event the Constitution is not drafted on time.

The incompetent leaders might not be tolerated by the majority of the population for CA tenure extension. The incumbent government has almost proved itself to be of senile “third gender” kind.

The Maoists are ready to wage a revolt right on May 28, 2010 as hinted by comrade Badal to ultimately capture the state.

The Monarch with the Indian and U.S backing could stage a comeback with the help of Military.

What is the End Game on May 28, 2010? All the Sajha Political Pundits and Analysts, please provide your strong analysis and possible political outcome. Thank you.

My guess is that after May 28th, there will be an unstable situation for a while (security situation will be at its low point) coz' of the dog fights. Then at some point representatives of New Delhi will come with a compromise deal to give space to all the actors; while for creating that broker deal it will take its piece of pie for sure. They gotta make a Cake and eat it too. Not a new New Delhi's strategy, is it??

Nothing will happen; these three idiots (Congress, UML and
Maoist) will go to president to increase time to write constitution. By the
way, there is no king and it is completely day dream or hypothetical to think,
there will be monarch again, probably if Gyanendra starts murmuring, even he might
have to leave the country. Regarding the army, they are already under the
government and any one try to revolt or Ku, its highest general will be jail  ( no one want to go there), that is sure because
there is no other force now (India can be the catalyst but it is not easy to
Ku). Regarding Badal’s idea, Badal is cloud, they just want to get power,
nothing will happen as they are saying but they want to be in the government
for the future election.
