Isn't this interesting that these are the people from same religious background that have led to this condition to start with. Humanity is always appreciated but not the religious propaganda. These people are selling religion through those kids. It is due to christian militia people have to hide in such places. here is the news source for the skeptics. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/8587305.stm Below is the portion of BBC news from March 29, 2010. Fighters from the notorious Lord's Resistance Army raided several villages in a remote part of north-eastern DR Congo, killing and abducting children. Human Rights Watch says this is one of the worst massacres carried out by the LRA, whose fighters roam across several countries after spreading from Uganda. | He warned me because he is an Azande, like me | The rebel leaders initially claimed to be fighting to install a theocracy in Uganda based on the Biblical Ten Commandments, but they now sow terror in Sudan and Central African Republic, as well as DR Congo. In the latest attack, the rebels hacked to death villagers and made others carry looted goods. Some 250 people were abducted. Jean-Claude Singbatile, 17, was captured with a group of friends and spent days carrying bags of salt. "As we marched, the LRA killed people - two at one village, three at the next and then four at the next," he told the BBC.

Concluding remark, Religion is not the solution to the world's problem, it only makes it worse. Free yourself from religion and think rationally. This reply is not in opposition to the original post. I am just putting my own two cents and we can agree to disagree.

I dont understand why Christians try to sell their religion and make it so cheap. Even though Nepal prohibits " Proselytizing", there are so many missionaries in Nepal.I am not against helping poor people but these folks serve poor to spread their religion. They have great funds so they usually travel to remote places to organize health camps to give various services and slowly brainwash he poor Nepalese by saying "Jesus is doing miracle on them and everything is possible through him". If i was up to me, I would not allow those missionaries in my country. Christians are targeting Asia as their top destination. More than 55% of world population lies in Asia and most of them are non christian so they will try their to increase missionaries esp in India, China, Indonesia. I donn think they still have courage to go to Muslim nations to proselytize. I am not trying to create a hatred thread but just putting my thoughts.
Live your way and let others to live their ways!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Look beyond religion guys!! not one person non christian, atheists etc were there to help those kids!! do you think it matters to those hungry, dying children who saved them?? yes i do agree to the fact that it is wrong to take advantage of the situation this way...but for an instant there i do salute these people for rescuing those dying kids. For me that's all that matters, i don't care who rescues em.

@syd_acid,"They have great funds so they usually travel to remote places to organize health camps to give various services and slowly brainwash he poor "
My response,
First, OPT, then H1B. Again, Green Card . After a while, US citizenship.
Wow! We're here to study. We should go home. But US Govt. slowly brain-wash us; offers many lucrative ways to survive; so we won't go back, and develop our country. They want us to be an American. At the end, Nepali achieves American citizenship.
Poor man becomes Christian, and you become American. Either way, job is done.

@syd: " If i was up to me, I would not allow those missionaries in my country." well you come back and make your point when you are upto helping people.. all you have been doing is TALKING THE TALK.....if you are so concerned why don't you do something about it rather than pointing fingers. you are just watching shit happen and sayin "damn those christians are feeding those hungry people that's not right" well im sure if you really wanted to you can do it too....

This is why I like Sexy Ji..............Kuro vhanay khatti garchin..............vhet huno ho vhanay lope sope parthiyo mero.....................Well jokes Aside and fun to a limit....................... One thing matters - Doing good and doing service who need them, and helping others. Now you do this in the name of god, religion, humanity , or inner satisfaction or whatever reasons you find. As Mr. legend pointed, a hungry and dying man will never asks what religion or where and how. All he care is food. Well, this is a human nature and human behaviour, and is been like this, and will be like this forever - "when u invest something in whatever form (money, time.....others), u always expect something coming out of it" SOmetimes it just might be fame, name and inner satisfaction. Everybody is doing their share of work. So no one to blame. If u thing something is wrong, either go and challenge for change, and if u cannot just enjoye what u can. Rest, "Sewa nai Dharma Ho"..........

Legend bro, I said in my post that "Humanity is always appreciated but not the religious propaganda". I just gave the background of what caused this problem in the first place. Helping those kids is just a small part, we should look at how we can stop the cause of that problem. Giving fish to hungry people is not enough, they should be taught how to fish. Lord's Resistance Army is a Christian militia who wants to bring Christian Theocracy in that region and they are the reason why people have to abandon their homes and hide in such remote places. Here some camera happy missionaries are making documentary about how their church and by that means how their God is helping the people in need and that is the Irony which I was pointing out on my post. Here in this case Christian God is the main problem and in this documentary they are trying to point otherwise. That's all.

I hever argued with the fact that religious propoganda is wrong. as a matter of fact i defy religion itself doesn't matter what religion it is. i think religion today has changed for the worse, it has lost it's true meaning, it has become a business and as with any business cut throat competition prevails. My point was based on the story i saw on this specific video. As i have mentioned before i am not arguing the fact that advertising christianity via this propoganda is wrong...but to the kid who is dying it does not matter, they have been saved and they are in a better situation than they were in. so to be sitting here and saying that those christians feeding the dying children is wrong in my opinion is not right.

Cylegend, I am not pointing fingers at them for feeding the children and helping the poors but their motive behind. I am not a religious person but i donn like proselytizing no matter who does. Thats like helping a girl with a motive to have sex with her: more like a bollywood movie scene where a villain offers a help to a woman and wants to sleep with her instead. I may not be able to help that girl but i donn have any ill intention.
