hey guys i had a question


 i got my associates degree this may.. i didnt apply for opt at that time. if i want to apply for it now is it too late.. i knw this is a stupid question but i just wanted to knw if i had any options..

Me Thinks it is   too late...Should have Filed 90 Days prior to ur Graduation or Couple of days prior to ur graduation....Just to make sure Talk with ur DSO (May have a Way out)

I don't think there is certain rule about it.


There is no specific rule about filing OPT period. The suggestion from your DSO and many other websites is that you have to file inbetween not before 3 months before graduation date and 1 months before graduation. Well, In my case I filed in 27 days before I graduated.


The problem is you will get denied and you will end up loosing that 340 dollars.
