Java applet and Flash didn't work on my Chrome.

For example:

1. The box where you write your posts in Sajha didn't appear on Chrome.

2. You Tube flash videos don't work.

Any similar experience? Any solution?

I have been using Chrome since the very next day it came out.  I have to say the speed is noticeably faster.  And I like the simple interface.  I am sure the mechanics behind it are much more evolved than either of the other two (major) browsers.

However, Sajha does not seem to work well with it.  This text area (which I am writing on right now) does not show when I use Chrome.  I am typing this text using IE.  Is it just me?

And, whenever I open hotmail, it asks me to upgrade the browser because it does not recognize Chrome.

Used chrome for a while and switched back to mozilla. Too many bugs, pages not loading correctly, error in navigating. Ok java execution is fast, so what? There are other stuff as applets, flash. Besides it is not a product made from scratch as claimed by google but bits and pieces of others.

As long as its beta, its okay to have bugs and be bulky. Once it evolves to a Release Candidate, i'd expect they become more brawny. If not, the comic book was a baloney. Or the beta was an alpha?

The idea of multiple process on each tabs intrigued me , but we haven't yet studied the statistics of how much improvement on CPU n Memory is? Have we? When i check out 3 tabs in Mozilla, and add up three chrome processes with 3 tabs in Chrome, they're more or less equal! ( Sampled 1 time and observed with my dreamy eyes without glasses - not that i wear one. )

The vulnerability that crashed the browser with a url was simply unacceptable for an organization of that size. Good that they've it fixed now.

We shouldnt be too excited about Java, cos Webkit based browsers are supposed to be good on Java . Its how well you mix those open source to create your type of browser . So what i am actually excited about is to see how well they blend the "cuil" (pronounced kool) features of what we currently have in the open-source repository and come out with a product that just wows us. Its been long - we need CHANGE on browsers too and Yes, they can :)

Guys whoever are testing it , Keep up the Good work and do inform us of your experience.

As for ME,right now I am happy with mozilla for now, will be willing to try the Final Release when it comes out.
But NO Beta version for me. Had too many bad experiences with Betas :-(
Let them sort out the bugs first.    .

Besides just as Khaobadi mentioned, this is not a product made from scratch. Open Source Mozilla is the primary source of "inspiration" I heard. Of course who would want to copy IE. But unfortunately I am having to use IE to write this comment as my office network doesnot allow any other browser besides IE

I am in fact more interested in that free internet deal Google is working on. Not sure if these corporate giants will ever let that dream materialize.

Just wanted to comment on this the way i think it is. Content Providers like Google, Microsoft would strongly favor for a free internet or "net neutrality". If they say it shouldnt be free, they'd have to pay more for the bandwidth share they have prominently on internet today.

Service Providers on the other hand, would want to classify on traffic type for QOS. May be charge more for bandwidth extensive video/audio and increase the performance and throughput from the pipe. They'd want to "control" the performance of the pipe.

Content Provider vs Service Providers. Vint Cerf vs Bob Kahn. FCC and Comcast , i agree nothing's as interesting as following these.

Data shows Chrome cut away the market of FireFox and Safari and let IE untouched in the one week after it was released. IE, in fact, made some gain.
