Dear friends,

You may remember that we started a fundraiser for Ritika Khanal in January this year.

Our combined group effort was able to reach the goal of $7000 within about 2 months in fact reaching $7666.11 with some more trickling in after few months.

The Khanal family had some problems obtaining visa to the US, but finally they have made it to the US last week.

Many individuals from Akron Ohio have been providing immense help to the Khanal family and they deserve sincere respect for their selfless work. Thanks for Amod Pyakuryal, Anand R. Tiwari and Rajesh Shah for their support.

It is a huge accomplishment for all of us to have been able to help provide the means for an innocent child get her eyesight back. We hope that the operation is successful, and wish her speedy recovery and all the best.

I have sent a check payable to Nepali American Organization of Ohio to hand over the fund directly to Mr. Sanu Babu Khanal. The final check is for $7362.11 with paypal transaction fee of $304.00 subtracted.
