Once, one of my friends and I almost drove to New Orleans, but we gave up considering the pretty long drive and not being sure what to look for (the places to visit, i.e.) in New Orleans. I am glad things are getting better after Katrina. Did you start living in New Orleans after the Katrina? What do you do there? Schooling? Working? (If you don't mind my asking) And, thank you for your invitation. I will not forget to drop a line to you if I ever decide to go there.
