(PC 273.5 A) is a felony n will not completely dismissed . what worsen is that if you are in visa or in GC and applying a citizenship then you will realized how severe the consequences will be . hire a good lawyer they will come up with some story to minimize the penalty. either way you will be charged for falsely reporting your wife or she will be charged for hitting you .

the real problem i see here is she will be denied reentry in the US if c is in GC or visa . as i said the case will not dismissed competently, its just minimizing the damage . lesson learnt : never play with law and law enforcement .

hire the best attorney and never repeat the mistake in future . never call 911 until u really need it . its not a joke .

pretty much depends on what u said to police duriing the investigation . court takes that as a primary source of evidence . if you have minor judge will take soft cornar on that issue . this is a common issue in immigrants like us . you are not screwed, but sinc she was under arrest it will be on public record n can cause immigration issues . the best is to hire a good lawyer who has expertise in this . never rely on online forum . dnt hesitate to hire good lawyer . better safe than sorry . my advise to her would be never leave the country until u r a us citizen .
