Hi, I recently applied for TPS EAD recently. How long does it take to get receipt, typically? Otherwise I don't know how to track the status.

For me, it took almost 3-4 weeks to get the receipt and another 2 months to get the TPS, and EAD approved letter, and within 2-3 days got the EAD.

@username619 thank you for the info. @fewa_tal I applied a week before. I didn't apply for TPS because I had applied the last time and it automatically got approved. I also used that expedite letter. If I get the EAD before my OPT expires, do I have to go to school sooner? In other words, does it change my 60 days grace period because I heard the newest work cancels out the previous one?
