Fill out the form and take the print out to the embassy. I did mine back in 2017 and it took 5 minutes and told me to come back in a month to take my passport. You can also send the application with pre-paid envelope.

Is DC the only option or can I travel to New York too to renew the passport? New York ma 'Consulate General of Nepal in New York' rahecha

DC jau form vara tehi gayera vara.tanna mache huncha helpful huncha..darauna pardaina. Temp passport 1 yr KO ekai din ma paucha. Long walla 3 months jati lagcha mail ma aucha.

i changed mine to MRP 4 yrs ago. all i did was emailed them requesting form (do not print it at home), they mailed it, filled it out and mailed it back with a prepeaid envelope with tracking info (you will get these instruction from them). im not sure if they still do it or you need to go there personally. tara garo k thiyo bhane, form ma aautha chaap handa alokati box bahira gako thiyo tesko lagi 2 patak form return bhayo. feri pani, yo 4 barsa agadi ko kura ho.
