Hi Guys-

I am Under TPS status and wishing to apply for the Advance Parole travel document.

If I apply for the form I-131, travel document, now, will the travel document expire the same day the current TPS Status end? or will it carryover to the next TPS term assuming it will extend. As I plan for visit to leave US around October wanted to plan from now on.

does anyone know?

It's better to apply for AP along with your TPS (given that they do extend it past June 24). I am on the same boat. If you apply for AP now, even if you get lucky and you get the decision right away, your AP will be valid only until your current TPS expires.

Good luck!!

Canadian Visa- yes ofcourse you will need it. TPS does not give you any American passport or status that other foreign countries recognize. For rest of the world you are still what your passport says you are and same rules apply.
