Gopal Bahadur Khadka was involved in acquiring land all over Nepal to store oil as the Managing Director of Nepal Oil Corporation. The land value amounted to billions of rupees. It was found that he paid exorbitant amount of money for the land which was valued at a lot less, which when investigated was found to be a pure act of corruption. The people who sold the land reported receiving a fifth of the money that was shown as the cost.
After his corruption was proven, the government took no actions and to make matters worse they gave him a position in the ministry.

This is a story of corruption in our country.
