Seriously guys.. i am very desperate here.. there is a earthquake of 2015 going in my life and tsunami in my head all the time. i wake up at nights and can't sleep. i barely get 4 hours of sleep at n ights and can't concentrate on anything during the day. It's because i worked so hard and for so many years to get a degree , but you all and our dhoti friends hustled and took my job. I was looking for jobs with real experience and yo all were adding 5 years of experience and at the end of the day yo all have the job and i have here with severe depression. when i see you all with your face book pics with your new houses and hot wives i get jealouse because, i honestly worked hard to get my degree and i think i also should enjoy that life. And when i see your linkedin profile with years of experience when two y years ago you were working at a gastation , it makes me frustated that i can't focus on anything for days. so now i come to your saran as a saranathi.. teach me the trick.. teach me how to.. i want to be a hustler.. tell me how do i lie .. i need to survive too.. i give up.. i'm a refugee to you intellegence.. i couldn't do it.. pl help...

Only thing you don't need to have is depression.If you have depression you can throw all you degree and experience out of the window cause you cannot function.Everything else is secondary.

Mulajsto, Your're not only one with the degree .There are so many folks here with the degree bro even I've the master degree. Degree ain't get you anywhere...At the end you gotta go to some consultancy to sell your degree. Because nobody hire fresher they're are always looking for experienced geek. Bottom line is do what you got to do to get the job, don't matter you lie, make fake resume whatever and degree is your plus point your confidence it boosts you to hold on the job.

xoom, i have known that in a very hard way.. and that is why i have come here , in your refuge and yours type to teach me how to do all that... please help me .. so where do i start? should i stop any Indian in the street and grab his legs until he gives me the mantra to land a job? btw, i have masters too, 2 of them .. both related to IT , One from a very reputed state uni and one from a local status bachau type ...

mulajasto, we're in the same boat. Desperately looking for a job, I've applied in too many places for a job, hardly get a job interview and could't crack it because of lack of experience in related field. So, I'm trying to get some help from these consultancy and vise versa. After few project we can do it by ourself. Believe me you don't have to grab his legs..

I took a training few years ago from a desi consulting company in Virginia They did not teach any advanced SQL, just the basics things. Learned most of it work. They stopped doing QA training and marketing nowadays. So the reason why i am looking for a marketer.

yesterday, an indian brother called me , said i can start training for 600 , when i told him that i am broke like a joke, he said he will settle me for 150 registration fee.. wanted to train me in java.. Wiz IT tech.. have you heard of it?

I would not Not Pay for the training.( YouTube debo vawa:).Those who charge for training do not need to bother for placing you coz they already made money. But those who do not charge are investing so they have some level of interest in placing you though that still does not guarantee you a placement because there are other factors including how is your preparation, how is market and how your team is doing compared to you.

The consultancy that I was first talking to said they would pay for my flight to Texas, my apartment and I would have to keep taking training courses all day until they placed me. They organized the training classes in the apartment complex where everyone stayed and it was obviously free. I thought this was normal. Also, he called me first. He somehow got graduation lists of all universities and was cold calling. He was saying they take 20% for the first year and then 15% afterwards. I don't know if they take out money for apartment and flight afterwards (I would assume so). Also, said h1b sponsorship as soon as possible.
