 US ban cabin laptops on some inbound flights

Tablets and laptops, in fact, any electronics items bigger than 6.3" x 3.66" will be disallowed inside cabin baggage in some inbound flights/airlines from certain countries. similar, although, not exactly same ban is also being implemented by UK based upon the "evaluated intelligence" rationale and Canada is also considering such ban.
Man, what a hassle! Now, you have to check-in the laptops with your bags and if it breaks you might have to submit a claim.
Travel is becoming too much troublesome these days. It will definitely hit us as most of us travel via Middle East and many of the origin flights are from there.
