Stop complaining about Nepal, idiots!

Deepak Raj Joshi Thursday, Jan 12, 2017

nepal-1423815_960_720
I am sick and tired of reading and hearing from Nepalese living outside complaining against Nepal. I'm tired of constant baseless criticism. Everyone says the system is not good; we need to create the good system. Nepal needs good leaders. What kind of system they are talking about? Who will create that system? Where can you get that system? Where can we get those leaders?

Have you ever heard these Indian-born CEO’s Sundar Pichai, Satya Nadella, Indra Nooyi, Shantanu Narayen, Anshu Jain, Ajay Banga and much more complaining about what kind of leader does India need and what kind of system India should have? The answer is NO because they are busy making the best out of what they have.

Let me tell you- when these NRN  hypocrites come to Nepal, they complain about the water they use to clean their face is dirty, the tissue paper they use isn't soft enough, food they eat is not hygienic, air they breathe is polluted, road they drive is not safe and so on and so forth. There is nothing they like about Nepal. In their so-called vacation trip to Nepal, They like to show off by swiping a credit card, buying some antiques, traveling around as if they are a tourist, snapping some pictures and uploading on Facebook. While they visit Nepal, their entire family is in migration process or they are already migrated. These stupidly unrealistic people get a chance to talk to mainstream media and they try to give cliché pieces of advice. Those who own the country should run the country so, keep your advice for yourself.

Please don't make a mockery of my people, my media, my society, and my country. These very people want a piece of the pie from Nepal which they sold a long time back for their own benefits. We have people who are smart, who are talented and can build this country on our own. We do not need to borrow ideas and people from outside. We don't need pseudo-intellectual bullshit in our country.

So cut the crap and stay wherever you are. You take an oath for citizenship to be a citizen and do not serve, respect and obey your own country. You are not needed here. If you are not good enough in your country of citizenship then what will you do for my country?

I have every right to be angry and to complain because I live here in this country and deal with all the political and many other social craps happening around here day and night. Today my complaint is bitter but I love my country, one of the most spectacularly beautiful countries in the world. I love my country for our people, culture, traditions, festivals, belief, social values, art, architecture of the land, and multi-dimensional heritage. I was born here. Genuinely I enjoy living here and I'll die here. I love my country just the way it is.

Nepal sure has plenty of people who know how to write these shitty patriotic articles. Good luck.

Not sure what percentage of current generation living abroad actually complains lack of infrastructure in Nepal. They only want equal opportunity. To my understanding it's all about shitty politics in nepal f..king every aspect of life that is driving people out of nepal that is the cause of every bit of frustration of current generation. Intellectually capable are hitting Western world and others who still have physical capability are hitting road to middle east.
Good luck to the author. Hope you can tame blood suckers like prachande, oli, koirala dynasty or gajedi paras baba some day.

I personally pray that these blood suckers die in the worst possible way ASAP...almost forgot to say that i hope that they die without wasting any tax payer's money in their outrageously lavish medical expanses...perhaps may the whole sambidhan sabha building collapse on those blood suckers and yamaraj take them all in one sweep as the biggest favor to nepal.

So you did not like my comments and you deleted it. I did not swear and use any profanity but trying to input my points.

We are as patriot as you are and we love our country may more than you do.

You discriminate people staying abroad? Country is running with remittance and you are saying idiot to us?

You stayed in dark for 18 hours’ load shading for decades without complain. We did complain about it. Now you knew it why we had 18 hours per day load shading.
I thought you were better than some of the Sajha visitors.   Learn to accept healthy comment as you know how to copy and paste.

What else can you do than? People decide to return hoping they can make a change and then after feeling worthless without knowing someone in higher positions or knowing that wihout feeding corrupted police and criminals you can't do anything in a straight formal way. So finally, you can either go into deep depression or return. One can only act positive and stay motivated for so long after seeing and experiencing one of the best systems and policies on earth. So, either you give up, keep fighting the fight you wont win or either catch the same bus and start accepting what it is. So what do you do is complain about things you can't change and that is why you have to accept offshore as your home. Every individual with this scenarios have obvious reason to complain. You think people in abroad haven't invested in projects in Nepal for its development? When you go back to village you are from and return there after staying in city for 10 years, I am pretty sure you act more than a tourist with a brand tag hanging from your sunglasses. And I think , its pretty normal to return to Nepal with similar impression since you have missed out on so many changes everything looks and feels new.

Yea! Yea!!

"Those who own the country should run the country so, keep your advice for yourself."

Only those who live in Nepal own the country, and they should run the country. Those who left the country for whatever reasons do not own the country and those "stateless" should not complain. Let the "stateless" just praise the system of injustice, exploitation, corruption, nepotism, and killings of innocent people continue. Let the "Owners" enjoy the remittance economy.

You stateless are trying to get a share of ownership of "Owners" by "complaiing". You stateless either should shut your mouth or praise the owners so that "owners" will be able to continue "run" and enjoy the country to accumulate power and wealth anyway.

Nepalese living in Nepal, Stop complaining about people living outside. You sound butt hurt cause you didn't get the visa approved.

Seriously, just because you left your country temporarily, you lose all the right to even say anything about the country? Perhaps if you guys took care of my country we wouldn't be complaining so much. Look at where the nation is. It's not just you, it's us too - but don't tell us to not say anything about our country.

I thought my comment was posted and deleted. May be did not get click submit button.

Lokay: your are staying home and enjoying the benefit of Remittance, the country is running with Remittance so we can demand things because we have been contributing to Country. We went out of country and we have seen things which you have not except in INTERNET now your vision is totally different than us. It is like a frog in a Pond and we have reached the Ocean. You stay in dark for Decades and it was okay to you but not to us, we complain about it.

What ever contribution we have been doing has no string attached and we think we are contributing more than you. You are comparing us to your Leaders?

Damn, how did this Joshi writer get publish article, first of all? Look at the title....it is so f...g stupid. ajha arulai jhapareko hera na...khate.

I found a commentator below article made a blunt comment....nice one...read this:

Joshi ji,
Your venting of anger could be considered of little value if you at least realized the fact that the country is hugely benefitting (and will continue in the future) from the knowledge, expertise and most importantly -the direct benefit of billions of rupees in terms of remittance. It is directly supporting the "running and operating" of the entire nation! Most of the economists and almost everyone agrees that IF it were not of remittance, Nepal would already have been a defunct and failed state. We all know that remittance has some negative consequences (social/cultural ills); however, we must weigh the pros and cons in a realistic manner. Your claim that the NRNs merely do complain, and do not contribute for their motherland, and are irresponsible -indicates that you are totally a bullshit (using your own term). Here is why I say you are a total bullshit and a little whiny stupid kid:

1) You say "Everyone [NRNs] says the system is not good; we need to create the good system. Nepal needs good leaders. What kind of system they are talking about? Who will create that system? Where can you get that system? Where can we get those leaders?" My question to you: What is wrong with asking for better system and better leadership? Even in the USA or UK, people are asking for the better system. and better leadership. System is not just related to any political "ism". For example, it could be replacing an archaic system of bidding in the government purchase with an "online" system -that at least guarantees some level of fairness and transparency...just an example. Definitely, NRNs are not physically present in Nepal but believe me, they are equally worried about the country -if not more. We have less flexibility and opportunity than you guys in the country to hold the party flags of political parties and take part in "Bandh" and "strikes" and show your full potential for the development of the country. If that does make us less of a "contributor" or "patriot" or whatever, let that be so DUDE!

2) What is wrong with complaining the drinking water which is not safe in most of the area? what is wrong with complaining the services in hospital and government delivery system? If you do a little bit of search, NRNs are making huge investments in hospitals, school projects and IT areas. Remember, ALL OF YOU PARTY FLAG HOLDERS -including the author of this BS article --NRNs are not just complaining. They are doing!!!! But if you are content with the "status quo" of what is there, I have nothing to say other than, "Ok, good luck"!

OK, you might have seen some cases of hypocrites -who happen to be NRNs -who just vent out their complains of this and that....those are not the representative of all the Nepalis staying abroad who have their best wishes for the sake of Nepal. I'd say, those "items" are everywhere -no mater where you go. Based on their complanings and show of hypocrisy, you cannot throw all the NRNs in one basket and discredit thier contribution. Please get rid of your poor narsissistic attitude. We all are Nepalis and our focus should be to raise our status above, support each other by getting together, not by excluding the others.

haha funny thing is he himself tried to live in the USA and make it here but finally gave up. He is no different than Nepali movie actress and actors who finally gave up and went back cuz they couldn't fit in. Now he's an IT consultant? which consultancy did you use to fake your resume , lol

How did this so-called 'college lecturer' become one? With Nepotism, politics or both?
The following are
some of his English expressions
vs
normal English usage:

complain against
vs
complain about?

we need to create the good system
vs
we need to create a good system

I could go on and on ....

Have you ever heard these Indian-born CEO’s Sundar Pichai, Satya Nadella, Indra Nooyi, Shantanu Narayen, Anshu Jain, Ajay Banga and much more complaining about what kind of leader does India need and what kind of system India should have?
You don't use "much more" on countable nouns. Persons can be counted. I would rather use the phrase "many more". The emergence of Indian-born CEOs clearly points to that of the next frontier for Western economic colonialism and the economic diplomacy needed to take root in the soon-to-be most populous nation. Comprendo?

I love my country for our people, culture, traditions, festivals, belief, social values, art, architecture of the land, and multi-dimensional heritage.
Of all, the inclusion of certain keywords in this sentence makes it the most disturbing. The culture of Hindu hegemony systematically instills incompetence in a social system which is built upon stratification and untouchability. No wonder the Hindu nobility and their henchmen got chased out of India as the Hindu society was too weak to defend themselves against the Muslim invaders. The social values of the Muslims might have made them relatively stronger than those being invaded. Go figure.

The contributions of NRN towards the relief and re-construction effort cannot be overlooked in the aftermath of that devastating earthquake. The author, on the other hand, takes childish offence when certain obvious and factual issues are pronounced. This guy has some serious growing-up to do.

I am sick and tired of reading and hearing from Nepalese living outside complaining against Nepal.
Any form of complaint is a good thing actually. In this case, those complaints may not even be attributed to the author's negligence or within the jurisdiction of his normal day to day official duties.
Therefore, 'Chilax', bro, will you?
According to Jack Ma, complaints can be opportunities in disguise. If you do not even acknowledge an existing problem, how in the world are you going to even formulate plans and take actions to solve any given issue?

This low self-esteem pathetic loser is really jealous of people living in the US, Aus, and Europe for whatever reason. Probably he could not get a visa or could not sustain.

This idiot has a typical Nepali mentality. He thinks Nepal is his bau ko birta. Who the fuck is he to disown thousands if not millions of Nepali people living outside? A good knock on his nose would remind him of the fact that remittance runs Nepal.

Who is this mofo loser? Sorry! I could not restrain myself. If you are in sajha, I have a question for you: have you ever seen an Indian to complain about and disown any fellow Indian living abroad? Trying to make them a lesser of an Indian? I am sure you have not and won't. Why? Because Indians, unlike you tappartuia, know what values Indians living outside add to their society. I am not talking about mere money here. There are so many highly educated and skillful Nepali people outside now, who can do any types of work in Nepal if need be.

If I were you, I'd be happy. As an underqualified person as you are able to write this piece of crap in a lame blog and brag your half-assed intellect. Lato desh ko gando tanneri. Imagine, if all the better people than you stayed in Nepal, whoever would give a fuck to you? Could you compete with them?

Listen imbecile, just look at what Korea and china did in the past with their America/Europe educated people. How those people played instrumental parts in the development of their countries. India is doing the same thing right now. Many of my Indian friends in graduate school went back to India. And, India values education and brings well-educated products back. Even Pakistan provides 25K rupees per month as an allowance to PhD holders, besides providing a decent opportunity. Look at our country, if I go back to Nepal, I can't even sustain. Unless I have a kaka or mama at high positions. And, this is not only my story. So, what do you want? I should go back to Nepal to suffer so that you can flaunt your "achievement" to me? And sate is your ego?

So, calm your tits, congratulate yourself and enjoy what you are having undeservedly until that lasts.
