Sathi ho, I applied SSN after I got my TPS approved but haven't received it yet. It has been a month now. Is anybody on the same boat? Please share u'r experience.

4-6 weeks timeframe. If not after that go to SS office and re apply.

If you are concerned, which I'm sure you are, you should contact USCIS and ask them about your case.

Thanks for the info guys. I will wait a week more as mangale said, if I don't receive by then, I will contact SSN and USCIS.

Why would someone ask USCIS about SSN delivery!!!!! Ask SSA office.

Thanks ny2. I found a toll free number in SSA website. Any idea if I call that number, I will get explanation about the situation. I already have a job offer and they are just waiting for SSN. Please share if anyone has any experience.

You should have got a paper explaining every thing about the time frame, when you went to social security office in the first place.
