A Nepali woman went to Pashupatinath with her 7 year old boy.
Boy: Look mom a cow, can we get some milk?
Mom: No son we can not, it's just a statue and they continued.
Boy again said: Look mom the tiger, will it attack us?
Mom: No beta its just a statue. It won't.
Boy: Look mom a dragon, will it spit fire on us?
Mom: It won't dear...its just a statue. Then they both enter into the templ...e premises.
Mom: Look son God, He is the master of the universe and will guide you. Please bow down in front of him and show some respect.
Son: Sorry mama, He can't be God. Its just a statue. If He is the master of the universe than just tell him to talk to me.
Mom was baffled.
Just to let you know, Vedas, Bhagwad Gita , Bible, Quran and most of other sacred scriptures prohibits Idol worship. Please read your scripture today. Please do not put God in a box.

The Vedas: "Andhatama pravishanti ye asambhuti mupaste"
"They enter darkness, those who worship the natural elements" (Air, Water, Fire, etc.). "They sink deeper in darkness, those who worship sambhuti." [Yajurveda 40:9]
Sambhuti means created things, for example table, chair, idol, etc.

Bhagvad Gita: "Those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires surrender unto demigods and follow the particular rules and regulations of worship according to their own natures." [Bhagavad Gita 7:20]

"Thou shalt have no other gods before me."
"Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:"
"Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God." [The Bible, Exodus 20:3-5]

Al-Qur'an: "It has been revealed to you, and to those before you that if you ever commit idol worship, all your works will be nullified, and you will be with the losers." [Al-Qur'an 39:65]
"God does not forgive idolatry,* but He forgives lesser offenses for whomever He wills. Anyone who sets up idols beside God, has forged a horrendous offense." [Al-Qur'an 4:48]

Have a good Weekend. Please do not give up your right to think to anyone. Let not your fore-fathers make decision of your salvation.
May God guide all of us. Ameen !!!

your Nepali brother,

"Do not give your right to think to anyone."
It seems you are the one who gave that right away. You believe everything from books written thousands years ago in that day's context. A book tells you, "thou shall have no gods over me" and you blindly believe.
Now about that story you just told, why don't you ask your God to come and do something? If he can't why are you chasing after Any God?

So the claim from some Hindu sector is true?
Islam and Christianity copied the concept from Veda, added few stories of their time and claim it to be new religion?
Thanks God there is no copyright for Veda otherwise Islam and Christianity could be sued for copyright infringement.
Also, claim from some Hindu sector that "everything is in Vedas , if something is not in Vedas it is nowhere else" seems to be true.
It is very sad for human civilization that someone copied concept from Veda and claimed it is from God and because of that we have major conflict in human civilization
I suggest new edition of Quran and bible should include reference section where they should mention how many verses of Vedas are in Quran and bible.
Thanks to those who are working hard to prove that Quran and bible are not from God but modified version of concept of Vedas.

I thought in ancient times ppl were honest, but looks like they were big lier. They took concept from something which existed before, added few things here and there and claim it to be new religion?

Nobody knows what is long term effect of genetically modified food because they are not used long enough

But we know that long-term effect of modified version of Vedas are, long-lasting conflict in human civilization that killed millions.

So it is better to stick to original concept mentioned in Vedas rather than modified version which created conflict in civilization.
I personally don't believe in any religion.
