Does anyone have CareFirst Blue Choice as their health insurance carrier? I am signing up for the affordable care act package, and CareFirst Blue Choice HSA Bronze $6000 comes up as the cheapest one. Just want to check if anyone has this plan and how it is.

How are you signing up for Affordable care act ? Do we have to be making less money for this or what ?

For the insurance: How much deductible do you have to pay ? It all depends on the coverage and deductible..If it's a HSA account then i am assuming it's high deductible.

Ok. I just checked and found:

Annual Deductible  Individual: $6,000    Family: $12,000
The $12,000 family deductible must be met before any member starts receiving benefits. The deductible may be met by one member or any combination of members.

So you'll have to pay either $6,000 or $12,000 before you can take benefits !
