Looking at the youtube comments, some liked the songs, some its lyrics and others the video (one commented that the video is not related anywhere to the song, well it doesn't have to be). What I liked though is the singer's vocal range. I had heard other songs by Karma band and had appreciated his voice, but this shows is scale/range. Am I wrong if I say that next to Amrit Gurung (Nepathya), Karma has the best vocal of any Nepali bands?

His vocal range is nowhere even close to Amrit Gurung's.... No offence but To me his voice sounds flat... But no doubt he has good songs and i do like his songs..

Kiddo, Jeewan Gurung(The Edge), Sujil Karmacharya (The seasons), Anil Singh, Sabin Rai.....are few names that have better range and quality in their voice. But that's my view. Feel free to differ.

All those vids you've posted, never heard never seen. I am not sure if I liked them over Karma's vocalist's vocals, most of these singers sing the high scale on falsetto and I think that's more easy to do than not resorting to falsetto. But I will have to agree with you because you clearly seem to know more about Nepali pop than myself (again, I am just a novice). There were two names you listed that I have heard and I think are better than Karma Band's vocalist: Anil Singh and Sabin Rai but they both are solo at this time and thus I stated vocalist of any band member. Anyway, thanks for sharing.

Surendra man cannot be in compared to vocalist of edge or tsujil . To be honest vocalist of edge is epic in nepali music industry. On the other hand,I won't say vocalist of nepathya -Amrit gurung is the great only , the ex-member of the band rabin shrestha cannot be forget at all.

I didn't like the song. Great lyrics, yes. But the song in itself was average at best, IMHO.  Btw, What's w/ those weird pronunciations(edge band in Thaha chaina)? I'd much rather these singers sang their songs in proper Nepali accent. I've always found Surendra Man Singh pretty cringeworthy. I can't stand him for some reason (I'm sure I'm in the minority, though). Nepali music industry seems to be going downhill at a really fast pace. Wish we had newer singers trying to emulate the likes of Prakash Shrestha, Narayan Gopal, Gopal Yonjan, Arun Thapa, Bhakta Raj Acharya etc. Coming across a bunch of punks forceably attempting to breakthrough the industry w/ crappy remix versions of some legendary songs is really worrying.  On a different note, I wish Danny Denzongpa had dedicated some extra time in Nepali music industry. It's more of a wishful thinking,money, fame, et al. considered, still... Every single song sung by him are evergreen, including this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...
