What will be the approximate calories comsumption from our typical nepali Daal-Bhat-Tarkari- Achar ( typical 1 servings) foods?
I couldnt get actual counts for typical nepali style on my googling attempt. Since Indian dishes are pretty similar to nepalese, this is what I came up so far

Typical basmati rice :
Serv size (50g) => 179 cal & 5 from fat
Lentil curry:
Serv size( 100g) => 139 cal & 47 from fat
Typical curry:
Serv size (1 cup) => 27 cal & 15 from fat
Typical curry incl. aloo, govi ...
Serv size (150g) => 100 cal & 36 frm fat

How does this sound to you guys? I am just tryina figure out how much calorie i am consuming from one time daal- bhat- tarkari...... Any input appreciated !!

 Here is my suggestion,
If you are trying to control your calorie intake, this is one of the best website. Open account on this website and track your nutrient and calorie intake. You will be amazed to see the data. This is one of the best website that i found myself to see where i stand myself. It won’t tell any Nepalese curry or Indian curry, but you can put like chicken curry, lentil soup, veg curry, desert, chips, cookies (general foods) etc. Remember, spices have zero calories. The data that this website provides is close to what out intake. If you have heard about MyPyramid, then this is its modified version. Here is the website:

Thanks

Drinking one 8-ounce glass of water burns about 12 calories. By drinking 2 liters of water per day, you could burn nearly 100 calories.--Livearmstrong.com.
