 I am thinking about doing meditation for a week in a temple as like stay there for a week leaving all the belongings back home.A complete peace of mind.Does anyone knows that kind of place around San francisco??

yes, several times, .. he gets more than 1000 people every time he has this meditation session, and it's not even religious, he just talks about ways of mind and spirituality.. and you don't even have to pay anything.. just go there, sit and listen, and meditate.. 
I've learned a lot from this guy, now I don't go there that often since I know how to do things or meditate.. but now once in a while I go there..
