I am going to nepal in march and was looking at tickets. I found really cheap tickets to ktm via Guanzhou (CAN) airport. But I have 14 hours transit! I wanted to know if anyone has been to Guanzhou airport and needed transit visa. Can i leave the airport and go sightseeing?

1. You need Visa.
2. Guangzhou is very smoggy.
3. There is nothing to do there.

Good luck!

Thank you everyone. Even if i stay in the airport, I need visa? I am going from Los Angelese with China Southern Airlines.
