Why newars are so inactive till today? There have been tamu samaj, rai samaj, tamang samaj, chettri bahun do teej every year but newars never fo anything. First time i am hearing they did anything. Keep coming with more programs.

Shrestha babu lai newari new years ko badhai chha. The same reason Chettri and Bahuns also don't have their own samaaj in the us. That is because they already have a good position in society so they dont' want to do extra work to get any kind of exposure. While, the janajaatis who were not in the limelight before, are happy to organize public events and activities.
